  1. Had a quick ... browse.. A Cadbury Dairy Milk bar contains 23% cocoa solids Cadbury's Flake contains 25% cocoa solids Twirl contains 25% cocoa solids Crunchie contains 20% cocoa solids DulwichFox
  2. Like I said I got an appointment this morning, saw a doctor, got a referral for an x-ray on my knee which I injured while on holiday in Turkey. Called Kings .. have an appointment for 5.45 this evening.. That's not a bad result. The NHS does work. Foxy.

It works both ways... Say you get an appointment for next Monday... Fine. Someone becomes ill over the W/E. so they turn up on Monday morning 8.00 only to find one of the available slots for that day has already been taken. That's why they operate a Turn up in the morning and get a slot system. No system is perfect.. but many surgeries have worked out this the best system when you have too many patients. Which is the real problem. Foxy
  4. Ok.. So people saying:- 'I come from the approach that we should imagine how it could work, rather than why it couldn't?' You have to first look at the problems so you can then find ways to eliminate them... Then you have a clear road ahead of you. Better than marching blindly ahead only to find problems on launch day.. How many new businesses have we seen fall into this trap. The Patch for one.. Foxy.
  5. I challenge anyone to drive around Southwark for 45 mins without creeping over the 20mph limit. 20mph LIMIT mean driving at 17-18 mph. You simply cannot keep your eye on the road looking for cyclists / pedestrians / other vehicles if you are constantly looking down checking your speed. DulwichFox
  6. Not everyone has the same Bread Making Skills.. Mixing, Proving, Kneading etc. Soughdough proving overnight. People do not have the time. Any space would need to be hygienic. The need to buy in bulk requires a safe storage area. I have been involved with a food Co-op (organic / vegetarian)in the past 1977 ish. Its hard work and requires a lot of dedication and commitment. Cheaper to buy ready baked bread in bulk from a bakery and distribute to 'Bread Club Members' Which is how our Co-Op used to work. Buy in Bulk .. distribute to members Foxy
  7. If you go in.. You can always get an appointment if your request is not urgent and you can wait. You just need to pop in.. 2 minute walk Sue. ? Lot quicker than all that typing and time you spent on the phone. :) Foxy
  8. I went there this morning. 07.45. 4 people in front of me. doors opened 07.55 Got an appointments for 11.20 today This seems the only way to guarantee a same day appointment. Foxy.
  9. Baking Bread at home (one loaf) works out expensive when you consider oven gas/electric costs. How could a community bakery work. Would need premises, and bread would need to be baked daily. ? Sounds like a really nice idea. Could it ever be practical ? DulwichFox
