I have just found out that the lady who was knocked down is a friend of mine who I haven't seen for a while. She is in hospital with a broken pelvis so a serious injury. I will update should I hear anything and wish here a swift recovery. DulwichFox -

That's fair enough... :) Oddly enough, I was veggie for around 3 years.. Religiously. First meat I ate was a D?ner Kebab. Foxy..

They really are a problem each year. They have destroyed large areas of my Axminster Carpets and some clothes. The adult female, which is around a centimetre long and an easily-camouflaged silvery-brown, will lay her eggs, which resemble rice grains, on clothing fibres. Females lay around 40 eggs over a three?week period, then die, although males can mate throughout their full life cycle. It takes only a few days for eggs to hatch, then they remain as larvae for up to two years, munching away at whatever natural fibres they can find. You need to Hoover daily to keep them at bay.. which may not be practical as they usually lay their eggs under furniture that you probably do not move around too much. This is what the Clothes Moth looks like. DulwichFox

I know AqM. ;-) But Kenny Jackett was the start of the rot.. he really had not got the ability to take the team any further, or indeed the desire to do so. Mark Mcghee was our best manager. He may of been there when you were a ST holder. Kenny Jackett bought the coffin... Lomas put the team in the coffin and Holloway nailed it down.. We now have a good manager in Neil Harris .. some new young keen players and a retention of decent older players. The dead wood has gone. Millwall is a good club that does a lot of good work in the local community. It encourages young people to stay out of trouble. It's our local team. and that's why I would never abandon them. We will be back. Stronger. Millwall Fox. :)

Curry Club - Thursday 7 March 2019 - venue TBC

Great night at the Dulwich Tandoori .. Drinks before dinner - and drinks with dinner - and after dinner drinks. Started in EDT - Dulwich Tandoori - Back to EDT for some of us. 12 / 14 ?? of us. Food was delightful. Dul. Tan. very busy besides us. Still managed to cope with starters, mains & sides. Beer and wine was flowing.. staff as usual very attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Mick Mac however was left crying into his curry as he ended up with my Vindaloo which Dul. Tan. always make extra hot for me with extra green chilli. Very amusing. :) I got his Madras which was also fairly spicy hot.. Complimentary Chocolate mints, Brandies, Baileys, and a Grand Marnier for myself.. Big thank you to Michael P. for organising. and to Dulwich Tandoori Foxy. -

It all started with Fine Fare (There was one in Peckham). I remember it from when I was a kid. Fine Fare started out as a chain of convenience stores back in the 1950s and grew into a supermarket chain. The chain was bought out by the Dee Corporation in 1986 and many Fine Fare stores became Gateway and then Somerfield. The East Dulwich store was Gateways. The last remaining Fine Fare stores closed down in 1988. DulwichFox

I would think that most Chains are PLC's and have 100's of stores. Boots. Tescos. I was under the impression that outlets like Franco Manca were franchises and not chains ?? Happy to Stand Corrected if not the case.. DulwichFox

Upstairs is best because there are no buggies.. People used to go upstairs to smoke.. which derives from the days when buses were open top. DulwichFox

Some people may well be going just a couple of stops and as they have a Bus Pass and not willing to walk. I generally go upstairs as I do not uses buses or short journeys.. Also some people may well have problems negotiating the stairs on a moving bus especially when getting off. Other people are nervous about going upstairs as most bus crime takes place upstairs with people being attacked or robbed of their phone / wallet. DulwichFox
