Condescending ? Because I suggest taking your kids to the park. Now that does begat belief How many little kids these days ever get to see the seaside? Build sand castles. Not many. But they get to see the inside of many pubs, Jeeze I lose the will to live. No wonder children grow up with so many hang ups DF

Not to get drunk. When I was a kid.. My parents/ mum cooked all our meals.. Cooking at home is a lot more affordable than any pub grub.. Kids were not allowed in pubs back then for good reason.. .. its not a great environment for children. and parents usually mums during the day are drinking.. like they are in the playground (another thread.) Why is there a need to do so. ? and their kids are eating crap.. Kids meals in pubs usually means Chicken Nuggets and fries.. Great. Its summer... Take some time to make a picnic with your children and take them to the park on foot so they get some exercise and fresh air. If you have the time to sit in a pub for 3-4 hours you have the time to go to the park. They can play on the swings and see the ducks (but do not feed them) They will come back worn out and sleep better at night. DulwichFox

Today a British guy ended his life in Dignitas Switzerland. It was witnessed by 4 friends one of which described the event as their friend drinking a lethal cocktail (Barbituates) and then going to sleep peacefully. 'smiling' My question is not about this process but why in the US people put to death by lethal injection are strapped down and suffer several (15) mins in which they die in agony. Is this a deliberate act of cruelty when a more humane process is available. DulwichFox

Roadworks in Lordship Lane at end of North Cross Road
DulwichFox replied to Sue's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The ramp seems to be quite steep.. considering cars turning left from L.L and will be on half lock this is going to put quite a strain on steering/front bearings and suspension. As if car drivers don't suffer enough from road humps. DulwichFox -
Anyone got any idea why Predict Addict is showing times of games as 14.00 instead of 15.00 All games are 1 hour out. Even games for week 1 are showing 14.00 although when printed out last week showed 15.00 Foxy

numbers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > ugh...tried manuka honey for the first time today, > it tasted unpleasant and medicinal. Maybe its an > acquired taste? Manuka Honey Is a special type of honey that contains unique natural chemical properties such as Hydrogen peroxide Hence the unusual taste.. It is used medicinally to heal cuts and in tea to soothe sore throats.. Note:- Be careful here because you want ACTIVE Manuka honey. Look for a UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) number (ie 15+). The higher the UMF the better the medicinal properties of the honey! Aim for a number betwen 12-20. Do not bother with a product under 10 UMF. I'm not sure if it meant to be eaten like ordinary honey.. I don't like it much. Foxy

Grow up ????. Both your offensive posts were taken down by the Moderators.. Talking about people being dead and a Rotting Fox Carcass in the Canal.. I did not threaten you with going to the Police.. In my PM. I said hate mail on Social Media is a crime and a Police matter. DulwichFox.

Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What comment was that then? Come on Otta. I think you know damn well what comment. You don't seem to have memory loss regarding something I may of said in some distant thread some time back when you want to pick me up on something I said later that was perhaps contradictory.
