  1. So . We pay council tax part of which is for Waste Collection... Southwark implement the Blue Green and Brown bin scheme.. They provide Green bags for us to put food waste in.. Everyone complies.. and then we get charged extra for complying with their scheme. Great.. DulwichFox
  2. I have a few left.. was only thinking this morning I need to order some more... Next thing.. Southwark will be issuing fines when people use other methods to dump food waste. DulwichFox

Millions of people drink millions pints of beer a day and millions of bottles of wine. They do so over the course of many years.... Nitrous Oxide can kill some one on their first hit. No one is going to die on their first 1/2 pint of lager. DulwichFox
  7. There was a plethora of bods when I drove past 1/2 hour ago.. Loads of action. Strangely dressed in what appeared to be Brand new High-vis. gear and new white Hard Hats... Looked like scene from a soap opera.. when they go overboard with the costume department. Perhaps they are expecting a visit from some Top Brass.. DulwichFox

İf İ didn't post here. Many here would have no one to have a go at. Their world would dry up. They would have nothing to say for themselves . So I just feed the trolls . I'm doing it now . 11. I've PM'd Counsellor Barber .. Not sure of the Lambeth situation. It would seem anyone caught will face a ?1,000 fine under some social order by-law. DulwichFox

  13. I was at the bus stop on the parade on East Dulwich Rd. last Sunday week.. and was surprised to see a dozen or so Nitrous Oxide tubes in the road. These things.. There have been deaths caused by this legal high. Lambeth have taken steps to stop the sale of Nitrous Oxide. Is this stuff being sold in East Dulwich shops and should residents be concerned. Does Counsellor Barber have any views on this subject.. DulwichFox

I have a good security system with several key holders registered with the police.. I also have VERY nosey neighbours. After all when I was working I was out all day. Apart from a 5/6 year old Tele and a couple of old laptops (10 years +)there is sod all worth nicking. I haven't said exactly when I am going and where I live. Biggest risk is with rough minicabs picking you up and taking you to the airport. Burglars often monitor peoples movements.. and wait for you to go out.. Some break in while you are asleep. Some pose as officials. ? What can you do. ? Foxy
  20. Fair enough.. Jeremy.. I'm not against kids in pubs. Many of my friends had kids with them a few years back.. and some of them may well of been guilty of what has been discussed here. My parents were not big drinkers but we did go to the pub oddly enough in the evening (Sat) Kids were not allowed inside and there was no food. We used to go to The White Horse (small garden) As a big treat the Fox on the Hill but mainly The Globe (now flats) Peckham Hill street. There was a cockle stall but as a real treat I got 2 Shillings (10p) and had Rock and Chips sit down at Bells fish shop. Long gone.. My first experience of dining out. and gaining my independence. 21. I really cannot see why there is a problem.. I certainly would not use Melbourne Grove as a rat run. Its simply too narrow. The only time I ever use it is when walking to Dulwich Hospital.. Where in other places such systems have be set up (there are many) we see more traffic with drivers driving around lost in the Labyrynths of one way streets, no entrys and blocked of roads . I don't get pissed, I don't have boozy mates, I drink at the EDT which does not have a problem with kids. (not that they are always a Problem) and I do not drink during the day.. (well rarely) I do drink in the evening. and.. I'm not moaning.. You will soon know when I am moaning.. :) Foxy

Does that bother you.. ? I usually post about being on holiday (Usually ? I hadn't had a holiday for 9 years) to tell Michael P. I wont be at curry club. What about those who go on every time they have a Pizza at Franco Manca.. or a Curry at Ganapatti ... or a meal at Franklins .. or the Palmerston.. Actually don't hear much about F.M. any more, now the Novelty has worn off.. Its all about that Pussey place now. I don't see the problem with saying I'm away or going away.. Its one of the few things that I get excited about. DulwichFox
  24. Pickle Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That's sad, granted, but once and for all proves > that you have no experience of raising children. > So really, it's you that should "STFU" as you so > eloquently put it. My wife was a nanny and we had one of the children living with us because his parents were City flyers who spent most of their time in wine bars neglecting their child. In more recent times I've witnessed neglect by parents who allow their little darlings to run riot and are the first to want to sue the pub if they fall over and 'Bump' their little heads. Sue.. Yes there are responsible guardians .. Usually Grandparents.. as in your case.. Having no experience of raising children has nothing to do with anything. Its like saying if you have never been to war you cannot comment on it being bad.. One can generally tell good parents by the way they interact with their children and talk to them. DF DF
