  1. Well when I was a kid, we used to take down car reg. nos. There weren't many cars around in 1950's but I can still remember 'A 6' for whatever reason. Quite a few people here on EDF seem to be taking note of car reg. Nos. Foxy

  3. Most people at London Bridge taking notes will be recording how late their train is when considering how much compensation they will be seeking. DulwichFox

I agree tho, the others should 'get a life' and preferably one like yours No, They wouldn't want to live like me. Sados that they are We're all a bit sad. Aren't we ? Foxy

  8. What I find dumbfounding is that on a Beutiful day like today is that ... Otta, Alan Medic, Seabag, DaveR, *Bob* have nothing better to do than talk about me.. ?? Well I've had a very lovely day in Twickenham and Richmond eating and drinking on the River. A good soak and I'm back out this evening. You really should try it sometime.. Get out meet people. Real people. Talk to them. Foxy.

  12. Quite right Lou.. I was just replying to Blah Blah that I was caught out by the same con. Horsebox came up with the facts. Case Closed. Then the usual mob step in and hijack the thread with pedantry comments with meticulous synchronicity. You could almost set your watch by it. :) Foxy

Again selective reading.. it was obviously a joke . You missed the Punch Line. 1s/9d ?? Perhaps you are too young. Foxy
  14. The original discusion was that Blah Blah wrote. 'I get honey from khan's on Rye Lane. ?2 for a big jar and it has a piece of the actual honeycomb in it, which is a nice touch.' And I said suggested that after buying the same product myself it was not real Honey. When I asked in the Turkish shop on Lordship Lane for Honey I was shown the same product as Blah Blah bought. The jar had a Big Bee on the label and a piece of Honeycomb inside the jar that was enough to convince Blah Blah and myself we had bought genuine Honey. So technically being advertised and sold as Honey. Well it does have 10% honey. But 30% corn Syrup which is what I said it was. Thats why it's ?2.00
