  7. It would seem that every PM has to have Their War.. Blair certainly got greedy.. A former supporter of CND turned out to be the most blood thirst PM since Churchill. Well Churchill was in different circumstances.. Blair destroyed The Labour Party with New labour.. with polices on the Trades Unions little different to that of the Tories. With the illegal War on Iraq I was no longer able to support them with Blair in charge. And then there was Brown. We (Labour Supporters) need someone with someone with some bottle and principals. Corbyn would seem right for the job but at 66 I have some reservations.. DulwichFox

  13. I now have an update.... Brand New Guy was correct in that the car involved had been turning right out of Frogley Rd. It was a mini cab but for possible legal reasons best not to mention the company involved. The lady a friend of mine is very poorly. She has multiple injuries to her pelvis, hip and lower legs. She is in intensive care and in an induced coma to aid her recovery. She is very well known by many E.D. residents who are shocked by this incident. Please join me in wishing here a full and swift recovery. DulwichFox

  21. Mortgage refused due to Japanese knotweed? Mortgage lenders including the building societies and high street banks refuse to lend money in the form of a mortgage where their surveyor identifies the presence of Japanese knotweed on the property. Refusal has also resulted where no Japanese knotweed is present on the site, but is on adjoining land. Surveyors employed by the banks are instructed to look out for Japanese knotweed, and whilst they may on occasion miss it, our experience shows they usually do identify knotweed correctly.
