  4. Well eyesore on not, it certainly does not seem to put off William Roses' customers judging by the queues that line up past the said place. DulwichFox

That right.. but I have to say until now I never really took much notice. One tends to walk passed the Launderette, glance in and then your outside William Rose .. I suppose you just get used to it. The fly posting makes it worse as it draws attention to the place. Foxy

Diabetes Facts and Figures in Italy Morbidity and Mortality: 3,9 million Italian adults have diabetes, i.e., 8,8% of the total population.1 An additional 2,65 million citizens (6% of the population) suffer from impaired glucose tolerance (pre-diabetes).1 This situation will deteriorate in the future, with an estimated 4,48 million adult citizens with diabetes in 2030.1 27.393 Italian citizens die from diabetes every year.1 This is 3 citizens every hour. Type 2 diabetes, accounting for 90% of all diabetes in Italy, decreases life expectancy by 5-10 years.2-3 According to the WHO, diabetes is the 4th leading cause of death in Europe.2 http://www.changingdiabetesbarometer.com/diabetes-data/countries/Italy/fact-sheet.aspx Lets all go on a Med Diet.. 7. It's a British thing I suppose to take over ... The British Empire where most of the World was Colonised... The Brits abroad .. who have taken over Small Spanish fishing villages and turned them into pockets English culture.. (That's laugh) Yeah.. It's really lovely. Everyone speak English. No foreign food. We got a nice club. Just the English people If I ever moved it would be because I liked the place as it was. I would not move somewhere with the intention of taking over and changing the place. Makes sense. ?? Probably not.. DulwichFox
  8. Please be warned if going to Devon Street Depot , you now need proof of address and I.D. I was there this morning and did not have much stuff so the guy let me drop it off. But they are going to be tightening things up. Foxy

  10. So the Cherry Tree charging ?5.00 a pint.. .. The Lordship Pub is now charging ?5.40 per pint for Peroni. I was in last night (drinking Timothy Taylor @ ?4.00) at 21.15 and there were 3 other people in the bar. EDT was rammed.. maybe because the Bishop is currently closed. I like the Lordship Pub but feel the location and pricing will deter some folk. DulwichFox
  11. Because 227g is 8 ounces and we can no longer use ounces Foxy
  12. As far as I'm concerned the thread can be closed... What was opened as a Light Hearted topic was hi-jacked several times by the usual suspects. With abuse and insult.. You can all carry on playing your games on your own.. I will not be back on this thread. DulwichFox
  13. Lush so you continue to launch insults.. You that hide behind walls You that hide behind desks I just want you to know I can see through your masks. Bob Dylan - Masters of War

I seem to remember on more than one occasion yourself talking about moving somewhere else.. Why might that be if you like it here so much... ?? Many people already have moved elsewhere. Foxy

No one suggested they were closing because people hated them. It's been on the cards for a ages. I suspect their lease may of expired. don't quote me. But it is true that people said that the store was an eyesore and did not have a place in E.D. People said it was cheap and nasty and would prefer something more up market. There are many people on EDF and many other residents who will be sad to see it go. It has continued to provide good service for many years. DulwichFox
  19. The very point why many people hated Iceland was that it was cheap... Why shop for something in Iceland and pay ?2.00 when you can afford to pay ?3.50 for the same thing else where. So along comes M&S to the rescue... DulwichFox
  20. Palace of Peace... It was a scam. Guy (Guru) was a fraudster... Way back in 1974 when London had the highest premie population of any city in the world the word got down to Oztralia that Utopia had already manifested there by the Grace of Prem Pal Singh Rawat. Unfortunately when Rawat sent David Lovejoy to England to enjoy that utopia he found there was very little love and joy and a mountain of debt. So he fired everbody that could be fired and sold everything that could be sold and then he saw the light, moved back to Australia and never practiced Knowledge again. Some of you may have been in that blissful utopia. http://prem-rawat-talk.org/cgi-bin/anyboard.cgi/forum?cmd=iYz&aK=57652&iZz=57652&gV=0&kQz=&aO=1&iWz=0 Foxy

Eternal Devine Thoughts (EDT) and some free joss sticks. MMhhhm (EDT) So that's where the name came from... Devine Fox. Sounds Good.

I put food out for the Foxes they stand back while a small white cat steals the food. All but the biggest Fox will tackle a cat. Foxes are quite docile and timid. Cats will fight to the death. ..and Otta, I'm not actually a Fox. I know people do take things literally on here. :) Foxy.

A hint of M.C Escher. The Dutch graphic artist. 17 June 1898 ? 27 March 1972 It's clever and incorporates the structure of the building with the illusion of depth.. One could believe it was real. A lot nicer than that ghastly 'cartoon' bee. with its 'brash' colours. There needs to be more consultation before any work is allowed to be carried out. DulwichFox
  25. I'm a meat eater (not a Big meat eater ) and think it is unnecessary to include exotic animals in any range. Kangaroo, Ostrich can already be bought in many supermarkets as can snails. Though I have no desire to try them. Crocodile ? Snake ? No thank you. I was Vegetarian at one time (2-3years 1978ish ) and many of my circle of friends at the time were Vegan. With a little bit of effort I probably could revert back and have thought about it. It does take a lot of commitment to take that step and I do admire those that stick with it. Foxy
