  1. No it's Clapham http://www.fluidnetwork.co.uk/gfx/venues/208/photo001.jpg 114 Clapham High Street, Clapham, London, SW4 7UJ I'm sure they probably have a 2 - Brewers in Wandsworth too. :) Foxy
  2. Hi Jah Lush.. Back in the 70's 1974 ish I was the only one with a car and used to ferry all my mates from pub to pub. The Old Kings Head Blackfriars Rd. / The Hole in the Wall Borough high St. / The Magdala / Two Brewers Clapham.. In those days it was acceptable to 3 pints and still be under the (then) limit. A few dives there I must add.. Two Brewers was a fine music venue with Steve Waller playing... Sunday Nights. Foxy
  3. Am I right in believing the Cherry Tree Owners once owned / ran the Magdala .. 70's ?? When it was decorated as a cave and had a DJ in the middle of the floor in the back room. Anyone remember. ?? DulwichFox

From what I've read, the dispatcher does not make the assessment. The dispatcher asks a set or pre-prepared questions and records the answers into a PC. where a computer program makes the assessment based on the answers given. It would seem that in this case the system failed. We will have to wait for the results of any pending enquiry.. DulwichFox
  5. I recently saw on BBC's Bargain Hunt a Harmonica which was tuned to accompany Bagpipes. I cannot stand Bagpipes but this most unusual and unique 'instument' is quite beautiful in the right hands / mouth. Foxy

On calling the Emergency Services the caller was asked what seemed like an list of pre-prepared questions and would not listen to any details the caller was trying to convey saying. "I did not ask you about that. Just answer the questions" I can only assume the answers to the questions merit points and that the number of points determines the urgency of the situation. Not the best system IMHO. DulwichFox
  8. Strimmers are a pain on a summers day... especially petrol ones... ... A 2 stroke strimmer gives out around 95 to 110 decibels so hearing protection needs to be worn Also with all the grass cuttings and dust for anyone nearby who suffers with Hay-Fever it can be very unpleasant. Very anti social .. DulwichFox
  9. After Iceland closes, I no longer care what replaces it... (I never did) I don't care what is built above it.. and I don't care if it is covered in Stik graffiti, cartoon bees or painted bright pink... Foxy.

The Golden Lion is well known for it's Sat. night Music Blues/Jazz and I believe a Thurs. night Film Club.. Dread to think what may become of that if the Cherry Tree owner takes over. DulwichFox

  13. Hi se22cat I have Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver CS6 which I paid for .. Expensive. Adobe now have Creative Cloud and do not sell products outright. You hire the complete suite or parts of it on a monthly basis. ? Loz.. Yes I already have Microsoft Movie Maker.. It seems to come with all Windows based PCs. It might be enough for my initial needs.. I Googled 'Best MP4 Editors' and found a Youtube video which suggested Wondershare.. .. which has a free trial which allows you to save your work but with a Watermark.. So you need to buy the package to use it properly.. I only just bought my Camcorder today .. Panasonic W570 which seems nice to use. But I haven't made any movies yet.. I'll be out and about soon.. Foxy
  14. Anyone have recommendations for MP4 Editor.. In preparation for uploading to Youtube.. Free or paid for.. Foxy

I'm actually a blow-in.. First Phase. By 1952 trams had already been phased out in several English cities but some of London's old trams were sent to Leeds where they remained in service until 1959. http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/july/6/newsid_2963000/2963092.stm The lines may still of been there till later but I don't remember them.
