I can honestly say I have absolutely no idea what 'street banners' people are talking about ??? I'm obviously missing the punch line of this joke.

Will that also apply to the little spy camera cars who are the main culprits when it comes to leaving their engines running.

Having a MAX speed of 20 MPH does catch some motorists out and could be a good be a nice little earner. BUT a real money spinner on Lordship Lane would be a MIN speed of 20 MPH and fine any motorist not acheiving 20 MPH Much of the time it is impossible to do 20 MPH. I should be working for Southwark Council.

I got something through the door last week about the European Parliament. Went straight in the Blue bin (Via the Shredder) Fox -
So good to see the old clique backing each other up. lol We had a Democratic vote on Brexit and voted to leave. Democratic General Elections could well be a thing of the past if there is a SECOND referendum. Some people just refuse to accept defeat.

E.U. Rules once again stipulates that the U.K has to take part. It will cost the U.K. ? Millions ++ which is a total waste of money. The U.K. WILL be leaving the E.U eventually and elected MEP's will be defunct.

If you put stickers on your bin, What if someone steals your stickers and put them on their bin. I thought the large garden waste bins would be removed and replaced with small brown bins If people pay to retain their large brown bins I can see them going missing. How the hell is this going to work ?? -

Brown bin collection - Council starting to charge?

went to Dulwich Library this morning to see if they had any Garden Waste bags. They did not have any and they will not be getting any more in. Bags will no longer be available. I was told you have to pay ?30.00 and you have to apply online. However the site has gone down. Southwark Council will be organising a P' up in a brewery -
Never found the likes of Danny Baker and the other ignoramus Russell Brand funny. Baker should know better but knows he would normally get away with it. Went too far for the BBC this time.

I no longer have a car so cannot take my garden waste to the Devon Street Depot. Ironic that in an attempt to clean up the air I am faced with this dilemma. My garden is tiny. Much of it paved and partially decked. I have a Strip of soil down each side which needs to be tidied up from time to time. Enough to fill my Brown Bin 2 - 3 times a year. But it has to be done. It needs doing now, How do I actually pay the ?30.00 and get to keep my Brown Bin and get it emptied, ?? DulwichFox -

I'm being plagued with calls from Bolivia Mauritania and other places. Evidently this is now a global scam affecting thousands of people world wide. The calls only ring for a few seconds and are designed to encourage people to return the call. Obviously I am not going to return a call to these destinations but people who have, have had bills $20 to hundreds of dollars. I have managed to answer a couple of call and get a recorded message in a foreign language followed by a BEEP. Possibly just cutting off or asking you to leave a message. I have contacted EE and no outstanding calls or high rate calls are on my bill. Just be aware and be very careful if you get any calls from foreign destinations, DulwichFox I just cleared down. The calls started at 03.00am this morning but I am still getting them. I am having to block the numbers but new numbers keep arriving.

It took me 20 minutes to find a bar of soap. That's very true. I too had trouble finding bars of soap. Very limited selection. I was in Sainsbury's yesterday. It took me almost as long to find a member of staff on the shop floor when I needed assistance. DulwichFox

Oak natural history and ancient wisdom: Oak trees can live up to 1000 years old but are generally mature at 75, and live on average 150-250 years.

Using timber, Mature Oak Trees from French Forests has been suggested. No consideration then for any effect on climate change due to the possibility of losing 1,200 mature Oak Trees.

So people unable to get rid of garden waste will Pave over their back yards or deck them. There will be less plants and flowers which will affect our wild life, Birds, Butterflies Bees and insects. Drainage will be badly affected too.
