Born here , grew up here, moved away , liked it for a bit , missed Dulwich after a while, came back and will not be moving anywhere else again . I love it here but I have a lot of ties here .
Some of us single parents still meet up a few years on since this thread started in case any new single parents would like to meet for a tea/coffee/ wine and chat ?
Hoping to go for a metal bike shed . I have seen lots of bike sheds in the front gardens around Dulwich but when I looked online to buy one it said about planning permission ?!
I honestly assumed that it was going to be one site and that the plan was the East Dulwich Hospital site . Two different Harris Primaries in East Dulwich is not something I would lend my support to .
Milk and more sell a green large zipped cool bag , would that work ?https://www.milkandmore.co.uk/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?section=10122&item=1742232&backLink=xxdcibeNationWideSAPCCtpLeafSctSs.jsp%3fsection=10122ANDbeginIndex=0ANDsecID=10122
The photos doesn't do the art any justice as it's very vibrant and colourful but as there was a van in the way I couldn't take a better photo . Hopefully someone else will post up a clearer picture when the van has moved .
I spoke to the man in question today at William Rose and he said he was misquoted and never used the word 'rough'. I told him to pop on here to explain the article . Not sure if he will but he was lovely about it and not happy with how he was misquoted in the Guardian.
Lived here all my life and it was never rough , well apart from What was Yilmaz and Casablanca but other than that , it was never a no go area . William Rose came to Dulwich because they knew the people in the area would flock to their shop, and spend their cash on free range and 'organic ' meat . Maybe he should have used a better description to describe Dulwich as what he meant ( up and coming maybe ?) is not correctly portrayed with the word 'Rough'.
My child enjoyed Santa at Horniman's. His did his job talking to my son and listening to him , the present was useful . Grotto was basic but it had a tree , fireplace , presents and santa so little ones will be happy enough .
Went Horniman's today, Santa was really lovely , my child really liked talking to Santa and the present was a torch which is pretty handy . The grotto wasn't wow but for little ones its enough .
