Apparently, according to those who attend St. Barnabas church (and according to the sermon at midnight mass on Christmas Eve) Christmas is not for children... I am a little confused as I am always reminded that children are our future... if that is so then Christmas is not for the future so I figure we are all DOOMED!!! No? However, on the opposite side the service at St. John's on Christmas day suggested quite the opposite and gave a little hope for followers (and non-followers like myself) It's all rather too deep for me this whole subject and this has just confuzzled me even further!

Experienced an exploding lightbulb in our house the other day... I do apologise if this has contributed to such fluctuations :-$ In all seriousness the other side of the Lane does experience ups and downs in power quite often. I wouldn't worry too much over it.

As muchly requested by others (I apologise to those who find it greatly annoying)... We have many words that we associate with things in life, the idea of this thread i hope is that one person leaces a word and then the next person associates with that word another word! Example: I leave the word... Work The next message should be associated with work so you would leave something like : Wages I am sure you'll soon get the idea! The first word will be... Joy (Admin would you kindly do the honours with the other thread please?)

LM my dearest you do realise that I'm much disliked for starting such a thread :-$ Admin is there enough of the "fun and games" (and totally pointless threads) feeling in the lounge to consider a games room now?

Residents also complained of the damage done to parked cars in Melbourne Grove which is quite a lot narrower than ED Grove.
