  1. The 185 "sequel" thread. Need I say more?

Dom, I stress again, I am NOT defending anyone. It is quite clear from everything you have just mentioned that whilst those complaining about this particular individual find "his" behaviour unacceptable it is acceptable to throw insults all round and say all kind of things (in quite a disgusting and shameful manner) about someone who is not a participant to the discussion. Surely this behaviour is just as bad as the accused! How many would openly say such things face to face?
  3. "in the context of the thread in general" Anything goes it would seem
  4. Looking at today's Metro and it is certainly being advertised with offer available 'til the end of July. With the exclusions of the O'Neill's in Drury Lane, Stanstead Airport and establishments in Glasgow the other places should accept the voucher ** I have seen this offer elsewhere but has since expired...**
  5. I was indeed at the Garden Party. It was a very enjoyable afternoon (even though it was wet for most of it). The Queen, who is much slimmer than the image you see on the telly, was actually smiling in a relaxed manner. The Duke being his usual cheeky self. Charles was instructing people on the best way to queue in the tea tent "simply run over there before anyone else catches on" and Camilla being her usual self on insisting to speak to as many people as possible and frustrating her escort by holding everything up. No I didnt speak to any of them (I'm still working on "those" circles) ;-) The was really quite delightful - I can never understand why people complain the portions are so small as there's no limit as to how much or how frequent one piles onto the plate (from what I could figure out anyway). To the ridiculously dressed small balding man - you think us women had silly hats? Quite clearly you've NEVER looked in a mirror! :)) Whether or not you're into the royals and all that it is still an exciting event and something not to be turned down if given the opportunity.
  6. Aren't there a large number of people who already tell fibs about health issues to get what they want... But back to Swine Flu - Blame the media for blowing EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING out of proportion that's what I'd say
  7. Tis usually when the busy beavers of the forum (the powers above) tweek something at their end.. it happens from time to time
  8. Hahahahaha!!! SeanMG LOVE it!
  9. Today's description in the Daily Mail of the Garden Party this Tuesday gone - Apparently the Queen left to the band playing "that's entertainment", Camilla was wearing a pale green outfit, and the Queen apparently had a quick bite of a cucumber sarnie. Makes me wonder if the writer was actually there as I distinctly remember it was a selection of James Bond music, it was a gold/cream/browny kind of outfit and if the cucumber sarnies were the same as I had sampled then clearly the Queen is missing a few taste buds. Hehehehe!
  10. Didnt know there were any "new" restaurants about LL these days... after all seanMG, I think you'll agree, if it's the one you're thinking of then it has already been open a while no? ;)
  11. Money flashes before their eyes (the thought of getting a small share in the charge of the call) and amazingly it seems a good idea... "management" pah!

    a joke

I apologise in advance! "To all my non-politically correct friends! In deference to The Archbishop of Canterbury and The Royal Commission for Political Correctness, it was announced today that the local climate in the UK should no longer be referred to as "English Weather." Rather than offend a growing portion of the population, it will now be referred to as "Muslim Weather." In other words - partly Sunni, but mostly Shi'ite." KK disclaimer: I take no responsibility for, if any, offense is caused. I have no issues with one faith, belief or what 'ave u. It's all the same to me... *shuts mouth* Sowwy!
  13. De ja vu of the bus driver thread... oh dear!
  14. Tis always wise at this time of year, although quite annoying to have to, to carry around anti-hestamine tablets or cream and perhaps invest in some suntan/after sun lotion containing bug repellent stuff. Darn bugs get ya when ya guards down (when you're out enjoying the warmer weather) (tu)
  15. Congratulations to you both! :)-D

  17. I'd prob suggest not going for the newest model out. Means nothing when thinking if it'll last any longer and not be prone to faults.
