  1. Not sticking up for anyone. Nope not at all. What would be the point against pathetic attitudes which have suddenly appeared? No really don't bother trying to pull me up on what I've just said it would just confirm MY view. Makes me feel quite ill.
  2. Defender as brave as you sound I really don't think there's any point. This lot seem to have made their mind up that "nigel" is the devil wiv issues *sighs*
  3. Laminators that decide to eat your documents... all the screws one loosens and takes out AND then you still can't get to the melted bit that was quite important. I'm sure not going to attempt to replace all screws and odd bits... DEATH TO THE LAMINATOR!!!! (6)
  4. Erm... I'm not too sure it's others that are making it more personal than you are jenren. No no I'm not jumping on the bandwagon with the others who you feel are trying to personall attack you. No really I'm not. I just dont see why the feeling of this thread has picked up tension. :-S
  5. I thought anything "privately" owned that those who owned it would be under obligation to make sure whatever it was was maintained/looked after? I apologise for my ramblings I'm in my own little world right now and I must say it's all quite pleasant!
  6. Fear not the girls of the group were very well behaved.
  7. I was somewhat disappointed with the show this year. There certainly lacked the usual busy busy vibe (perhaps down to the weather). Noticed a fair number of stalls that resembled a car boot sale which seemed a little out of place. Not enough craft stalls and activities and quite a few different types of stalls (massage, paintings, and juice stalls) were all mixed together not necessarily making sense as compared to other years. The cider one certainly was quite popular having noticed loads of 4 and 6 pint containers being carried around by young and old. The "debate" tent was just too silly (amusing). I was quite disturbed in the animal sections as to the treatment by the "volunteers" towards some of the animals but I shall keep those views to myself (I was quite surprised I felt like this). In contrast though, the eagles from Eagle heights were a delight even when flying slightly further a field than planned. The music, as always, was rather fitting for the country feel even with the relaxed attitude of the performers and not knowing who was doing what when. The smaller bands were also not drowned out by other stages as is usually the case each year so that is a good positive plus. A bit hit and miss is my view.
