I had expected better from someone who supports the goings ons of the area.
  2. Oh get off your high horse! There is no excuse for letting children run wild and being such a nuisance as described by the OP. Yes parents cope with things differently but that is what being a parent is all about. Contrary to popular belief, children do not rule the roost. Parents should have an awareness on what their child is doing - If they are becoming noisy outside and refuse to tone it down when requested, bring them in.

It's the councils' sneaky way to justify the plans. By making out it's an essential implementation in the "battle" against the virus they're getting their own way. The approach is clever, shame the plan isn't *sighs
  4. Erm... to some people it might not be junk mail *shrugs

A bit difficult to do IF say I dunno... they don't have staff due to self isolation... Just putting that thought out there! It's easy to say this and that should be operating how you expect them to do so but people really need to think of others too.
  6. Not that I have anything helpful to add but I read the title as "Onion pork potatoes". Just thought I'd share that!
  7. It annoys me people are quick to moan about the shops themselves but really it's the customers that are the problem. We've been in the situation a good while now and yet STILL people are being stupid and continuing to live in their own bubbles and choose it ignore the general rule about social distancing.Local shops are small. We all know this. As it's been mentioned already on this thread, speak up to people not following the rules. Help the situation and take control... If you spot a shop you wish to obtain goods from that is busy, either wait outside creating a Queue and take responsibility for "crowd control" (help shops!) or stand in a place that prevents more shoppers entering until order has resumed (based on the rules of social distancing). Yes I appreciate there are many that don't feel comfortable about making such bold moves but we need to work together. Shop owners are under pressure to get goods to people and are also putting themselves at risk all the time. More consideration for them, I'm sure, would be greatly appreciated. ETA - Thank you so very much to all those in the local shops!
  8. Was it an atlas?
  9. what's the matter with you lot? It's about awareness more than anything. If it's of no interest to you then you needn't be concerned with it. Simple.

Should threads be moved elsewhere and another is started up it would be really helpful, to those that might not navigate around the forum so much or even realise (those on mobile devices) there are other sections, for others to link on the thread where they might find it...

I'm sure the Council are busy at... let me guess... the council. The EDF is NOT the full representation of the borough and is not the only means of communication. There are many things to consider and get in motion before being able to inform people with the correction information (just look at the situation/confusion caused with last weeks' PM announcement). This is not the time to lecture on politics so take a step back. The council will share any information as and when they are able to.
  12. I, on impulse, bought a small bag of sugar... I dont use sugar *shrugs

Maybe you should just stop talking. You are making yourself look a fool. Share facts instead of rolling out silly unfounded comments.

  18. Not sure why my post was removed... I am interested to know the response from the store regarding complaints filed based on the comments here, whether it's to do with poor levels of stock or poor customer service.
  19. What has been the response from the store to the complaints filed? Assuming, for all the moaning on here, such actions have been taken. Especially against such "vile" staff?
