  2. An overview of the plans can be found here: https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/camberwell-town-centre-public-realm-improvements/supporting_documents/Camberwell%20TC%20%20Overall%20plan.pdf
  3. Southwark are consulting on changes to Camberwell Green road layout. https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/camberwell-town-centre-public-realm-improvements Worth noting that it includes a proposal to stop the 185 turning right into Denmark Hill from Camberwell New Road. The bus will instead be diverted up Medlar Street.
  4. ... oh, but maybe turkish delight is dairy milk now, don't know.

I remember the multicoloured one. Haven't seen it recently. I always preferred the standard Fry's cream though (although peppermint aint too bad). Dairy Milk i just don't get, it's hands down the worse chocolate. Galaxy, Milka, almost anything else is nicer if you want something milky.
  7. Agree with you about Fry's turkish delight Louisa. Good stuff.

  9. I hate Dairy Milk. It doesn't taste of anything, just really sweet and has the texture of cheese. Horrible. That said, I do like a Crunchie and shameful as it is to admit, I always liked Caramac. My favourite old school bar though is the Fry's chocolate creme by a country mile. Oh, and Topics - love a Topic.
  10. Agree with Ruffers - I've tried a couple of different routes and that one is the fastest / easiest.

  12. The more you eat them the fatter your hands get and the smaller they look as you push fistfuls into your shout piece.
  13. It always amazes me to see people causally texting at the wheel. I bet the same individuals wouldn't dream of drink driving, but it's probably as dangerous.
  14. Sorry to hear about this, sounds pretty traumatic tbh. You have to wonder what on earth has caused 12 year olds to behave like that? pretty grim.
  15. I think there was a post by someone else who had experienced this, in the same area, a few weeks back. Sounds like the same culprits. Have you reported it?
  16. When articles quote percentage increases in something without actual numbers - i.e. "so and so is up 20% (yeah, but from an extremely low base, such that to be meaningless / statistically insignificant)".
  17. Another supermarket seems unnecessary.

I was in Bristol the weekend before last and couldn't believe how cheap drinks were compared to London.

  20. Louisa's post was in the spirit of the thread, so totally unreasonable to criticise IMO.
  21. Ha! Was just about to link to that myself. Good article
