Nice. That little stretch by Queen's Road is getting quite interesting.

Last year, there were a number of 4 bed properties topping a million (some substantially over). Out of 15 which show up on a land registry search, 6 sold for over a million and another 2, just under. The highest price was 1.2m. Most of those under 1m where sold early on in the year. This year, out of the 6 showing up as sold through the land registry, none are over a million. They range from 630K up to 875K. It seems to me, that (at least for 4 bed houses) actual sold prices have dropped by at least 20%.

There is pasturised honey and 'raw' honey. Raw honey, especially Manuka is very expensive because some folk believe it has 'healing properties'. It's a bit of a fad imo - just clever marketing designed to cause a 'buzz' (see what I did there).

I would love to know what level of taxpayer subsidy (if any) this place receives?

Fahrenheit make a lot more sense - it's a much bigger scale so you can categorise in broader terms of the 60s, 70s, 80s etc. Centigrade it's generally all 20s and 30s - not descriptive / sensitive enough. Other metric weights an measures are different - it make much more sense to express things in multiples of tens.

I'm not sure it's a sellers market in ED at the moment. It does depend to some degree on what end of the market you're looking, but certainly for houses there is no shortage of properties. 4 bed houses were asking for around 1 million last year, now they're going up for more like 800K. That's quite a big drop.

So looking into it, Wispa contains 'cocoa solids 25% minimum', which means is higher than Dairy Milk. So it seems to be a different chocolate - although the fact that it's aerated is clearly the bigger distinction.
