Had my jab at Guys yesterday as a result of persistently trying that number. Didn't help that the train from ED Station was cancelled, but still got there in time. Very efficient considering how busy everyone was (unlike the train service)

There was a battery, I believe, somewhere on Peckham Rye and a gun site at the top of Grange Lane which, I imagine is now the Gunsite allotments -

I can't see why the non-delivery of post, a paid for service, has anything to do with ice-cream or "avos". It may come as surprise to some people, bit not everything is a class issue. And as for entitlement, that's what we've paid for. Thinks, why am I bothering to argue. Must be bored.

We have a very small brown bird that I suspect is a wren. It's so shy we never get a close look. It has a sharply up-pointing tail.

Yes, I'm sure life has been hard in the sorting offices. But the management has had most of the year to sort things out. Why didn't they take on more staff if there's more work? I suspect the answer is simple, it would have cost them more and they prefer profits to giving a service.

I once bought a sack of very cheap bird seed and it was infested with weevils, They were all over the house before I realsied what they were and where they were coming from. No jokes about the lesser of two weevils, by request

Just had a reply from Stephen Buckley, the Chairman and CEO of Royal Mail "Some areas may get covered for delivery rounds only every second or third days" Ha! We should be so lucky. Every second or third week, more like. [email protected] if anyone feel like expressing their views.

There seems to be casual Christmas jobs, according to the Royal Mail website, so perhaps it was a local decision Not a very good one. Yesterday they said they had 20% off sick. I suspect many posties have given up
