    Yellow fluid

The corner of Worlingham/Crawthew Rd is often usual as fly-tipping spot, but recently someone really really weird has taken to leaving plastic bottles full of a nasty looking yellow fluid there. If it's what it looks like, someone is very sick, mentally and physically. Please don't do it. About 20 bottles were cleared up but it's starting being dumped again.
  2. Hi. Dulwich library used to be one of the best libraries in SE London. Now I don't bother going, and haunt the charity shops for cheap books instead. They never see to buy any new books, presumably because of the budget cuts, and they threw away all the "not exactly classics but not coloured pink or featuring a family saga" books years ago. The rot really made its presence felt when they re-decorated it. OK, it looks good, but it meant that lots of shelves were scrapped so the book stock really diminished. When I complained about this, I was told that it now provided a better environment for the librarians. Well, as a librarian, I never thought that my job was there just to make me comfortable Lynne
  3. Definately Lynne
  4. Hi.At peak time the congestion to get down the bottleneck of the steps could be dangerous, I think. There's room to expand into the shrubbery (if that's ever dug up, look out for the Victorian bottle bank around there.)Could there be a slope instead? And how are wheelchair users suppose to get up? It's bad enough for pushchairs Lynne
  5. Yes, please please a direct train to East Crodon, as before
  6. Hi. I don't know if anyone else has raised this, but could the exits to East Dulwich station be improved?. They are very difficult for pushchairs and must be impossible for wheelchairs. I thought stations had to be designed to accomodate the disabled? Also the exits, especially if you're coming form London Bridge, are so narrow that if there were an accident at rush hour, it could be dangerous. There's plently of room for widening Lynne
  7. Totally agree with all the complaints about bins. I have very small front garden which is now not a garden but a bin store. Don't they realise that people want their environment to look good? My equally small kitchen is now supposed to be full of rotting food. We already have rats in our back garden. I tried ringing Southwark to see if I could keep my old recyling box and return the blue bin, but of course the switchboard didn't know the answer and no-one has returned my call, as promised How much has all this cost us council tax payers? Lynne
  8. Don't think the Upland/CPRd is either M1s. I was always told it was a special Police operations place.
  9. Yesterday afternoon there were 7 Foxton's cars in Crawthew Rd. 7!! Plus two other agents. Crawthew rd isn't very long, either. Only just started reading this site. Is it worth talking to one's Councillors?
