Really sorry this happened to you and your family. Do try to have a good holiday. I will keep my eyes peeled for your case, as your probably right in saying they dumped it somewhere after looking in it. Some people are just plain rotten. I always try to think of how things could be worse so thank goodness the idiot didn't take the car. Try not to leave the blue badge in car as they take those to sell, that's why the council give a letter to display when parked outside your house, as they know they get stolen. Best of luck, and enjoy your holiday.

I saw a tall, thin bloke on the Monday eve about 9ish, walking down oglander road, towards grove vale, he was walking in road, looking into every car he passed. Wish I had called police however due to past experience, by the time they could turn up the suspect would have gone..though would call police if I saw him breaking into car. People should report it if car broken into.... I'm all for cctv every where.

My neighbour says there was a black and white cat hiding under his hedges in Oxenford st. He never knew cat was there till his dog chased it. It ran in direction of the long pathway where numbers 15/17 Oxenford street are. If you get into Oxenford st from copleston road, the pathway is on the left , past bellenden road, might be worth walking around and calling her. I live on Oxenford and only know of a fluffy black and white, I've not seen a shorthaired blk & White living on this road. I will keep my eyes peeled.

6 dogs stolen from dog walker in Forest Hill
Delainie replied to heather_wardle's topic in Lost, Found or Stolen
The police would probably think I'm mad and say people are allowed to sell their dogs. I just thought if owners of the two fawn pugs were on this forum they could look at the photos on the site, as they may be able to tell if theirs or not. I don't have Twitter or Facebook to put it on. This is the third incident as the second was, I think,in north London, a dog grooming van was stolen with dogs in it, however was found dumped not far from where stolen, with all dogs in van. Probably as the van had lots of writing and stickers on it was too noticeable and decided to dump. I wish these dog walkers wouldn't leave people's beloved pets in their vans. 6 dogs are far too many to be responsible for in any case. Let's hope these four dogs are found safe and Nina the Lurcher and Mattie the teacup yorkie from the previous theft are found safe and well. It is a sickening crime. -

I love all animals, however I thought by law you are only allowed to walk four at a time. I have no issues as long as they do pick up poo, which I'm sure most do, however my only concern is, if one of the dogs got in to a fight or was attacked by an idiot with perhaps one dog off lead, I should imagine it would be quite hard to manage, especially if all dogs of lead. My personal opinion is if I couldn't walk my own dog, I wouldn't have one and the way things are going with dogs getting stolen, I wouldn't let anyone take my dog out, unless I was sick, then I'd only trust my brother! That is just me though, live and let live!!!!

Hello Sobbie, Let us know if you managed to get cat to vet to be scanned. It's nice to know the outcome! Is this the same black cat you posted on forum a few days back that you found Or is this another one? If it's a different one, what was the outcome of the first one, was it chipped. Keep us updated please!

Hello Bonniebird, thanks re Facebook however I'm not on it. The little terrier is female, has a pink collar on. She is on animal search uk ref number AFP259414, found in reading 24/07, if you could put this on Facebook please as I don't know anything about Facebook. I just keep scanning online at all the lost and found sites and gumtree. I think about the dogs and owners everyday, it's heart wrenching. Again, re microchips, they do move and depending on person scanning, they can be missed, that's why I would never assume it's not her even though it says not chipped. Just hope they are found. Might try to work out Facebook as I'm sure it's handy for missing pets. Thx

Hello, As I can't find any listing for the smallest dog by the owner, thought I'd post this here, especially as one was found in swanley. Could this be the little one, although it says not microchipped , sometimes if person scanning for chip isn't thorough the chip can be missed as they can move. I realise this dog was found in reading however as the scum were driving, no one knows where they drove to. It is on animal search uk.

As Lilly was found in swanley near the A20, can the dog owners contact vets and the council dog wardens in and around that area. I just think the poor souls have been let out of van one at a time and as toe rag seemed to have been heading to kent. I'm just thinking they may not be in this area. It's just devastating .Really hope they all are found safe. We all just have to hope and keep our ears and eyes open. I keep checking all the lost & found forums and gumtree. Fingers crossed.

Should imagine dogs are all chipped which is good. Depending on where the dogs were dumped out of van, if they are near a park they know, they may well head to it or any green areas they know. Hope that all the poor little things are found safe. Please keep us updated and of course all us animal lovers will keep our ears and eyes open.
