Personally I think this is far more urgent than that - I can easily see a serious injury to a cyclist happening some time soon. Perhaps the mention of liability in such an event might change Southwark's view, especially since they are already aware of the problem. Motorists are also having to drive on the wrong side to avoid some of these holes, which is just exacerbating the situation. I was going to report this until I saw that several others already have, and that Cllr Barber is onto it too. I'm amazed there have been no reports of injury to cyclists (yet)

Best route over river without entering congestion zone?
HelBel65 replied to Robert Poste's Child's topic in The Lounge
I've had a few conversations about this recently with people who didn't realise that you can drive through central London CCharge free - Vauxhall Bridge/Victoria/Park Lane/Edgeware Road. Useful to know. Robert Poste's Child Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Thanks. Lordship Lane Co Op - still a shambles

Agree 100%. SMBS too. Co op are messing it up badly but there are others nearby really working to offer something good. Let's spend our money there. -
Laura is fantastic. She has done great things in my garden, from tidying to serious chopping back, to masses of planting, including bulbs for next Spring. Extremely reliable and knows her stuff too. Highly recommended.

I ordered from Yoobi without realising it didn't come from the restaurant, thought quality was excellent. fishbiscuits Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I only order from ones I know come from the actual > restaurants. > > If you order Busaba Eathai, Yoobi Sushi, or > Tommi's Burgers... it's very mediocre food > (prepared/reheated in Melbourne Grove or Valmar > Road) and very, very expensive. -

A good example is the Forest Hill supermarket on FH road. Stock has clearly adapted and changed for the clientele but it hasn't lost its ethnic roots. Love that place.

You'll have more success contacting James if you re-post this on his own thread, doubt he'll see it otherwise. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,336529 -

I think some of Louisa's wind up posts are really entertaining. What baffles me is why so many people fall for it and give her exactly what she wants! Kudos to you Louisa!

I agree, I was out watching the show at 2am having been woken by the thunder. Marvellous!

I wasn't complaining about the prices per se, it all looks reasonable to me, more the concept of charging extra for certain dietary requirements. It's just a bit old fashioned now. Even Dominos will do a gf pizza for free these days! ETA by free, I mean for no extra charge obvs!

Looks nice but a bit outdated to charge extra for GF. So many places offer GF options for free these days. That would put me off (on behalf of my coeliac friends!)

Bought my 2 bed garden flat in SE22 in 2012 for 295k. I loved it at first sight but it had languished on the market for a long time by then, so I snapped it up with ease. Could never understand it and just put it down to insufficient demand at the time. Would really struggle to buy it now, and my income has increased a fair bit since then.

I'm a cat lover with 2 of my own, and this sounds fair enough to me as long as it is just a squirt and not one of those water cannon things which can hurt. I still have 2 water pistols that I bought to use on a neighbouring cat who was bullying my old boy when he was alive. In fact it was the owner of that cat who suggested it! My 2 are young and very curious, and can imagine them being a pain to any neighbours who aren't that keen - a discouraging squirt of water would be fine by me.
