  1. OCD you say. In what font would you do that ? *sets off typeface bomb in head* Nette ☐
  2. "Sycamores are rather a nuisance, as are Ash" (in the words of the man from Dulwich estates, today) So, now you know Nette
  3. Ah it's all fun though, pointing fingers at people "Oooo look at him/her" Only to realise we're pointing at a bit of ourselves in the process Nette ☐

  6. You did the right thing and there's nothing wrong with what you said I said virtually the same thing to a woman who was unwrapping her kids sweets and slinging the wrappers straight on the floor at the bus stop "No wonder this place looks like such a s*it hole with people like you living round here" She was quick to jump on my comment, trying to turn it into race issue, rather than accept that she was dropping litter "illegally" So I added "Dropping litter is illegal; in England that's a crime, plus you're standing right next to a bin, that's sheer blinkin laziness. Colour, race, creed doesn't come into it" She hated it Trouble is, these lazy litter dropping idiots hate to be pulled up I'd also report the incident to the Police. He threatened you with a physical assault Nette

Here's a pot I'm sure Perry had you specially in mind when creating it PD http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/7421/graysonphoto1.jpg There was another pot, with a transexual man nearly naked on it, wearing a black suspenderbelt/stocking combo. He/she was sporting a dildo in her/his hand, using it like a tooth brush One leg cocked slightly up, to give full view of the man tackle Quite fetching it was too Maybe not your thing; but good legs, probably a centre forward in a previous life Nette
  10. Ah yes The old "Rose Tint"
  11. Oh lordy Fox Maybe we should just hang out the white flag and give in now Nette:-S
  12. That's one big condescending ego that Nicholas Taylor manages Jeez, how he's got the guts to walk down Depford high street I don't know Maybe there's a "Nicholas Taylor how-not-to" module taught in Architectural schools now What an awful legacy :X
  13. Grayson Perry's new show starts tonight "The Vanity of Small Differences" is at Victoria Miro (angel or old street tube) from 7 June - 11 August 2012. http://www.channel4.com/assets/programmes/images/in-the-best-possible-taste-grayson-perry/the-vanity-of-small-differences/c397be21-9dcd-4900-8a66-d75faa53ed6d_412x232.jpg He's showing six new tapestries: "The tapestries tell the story of class mobility, for I think nothing has as strong an influence on our aesthetic taste as the social class in which we grow up" (Grayson Perry) Also see Channel 4's new three-part series: "All in the Best Possible Taste" with Grayson Perry started on Tuesday 5 June at 10pm. Personally, I like Grayson Perry and his work. I also like what he stands for. He's a man who, in a very British tradition, pushes our perception of how we see ourselves and this country. He crosses gender and class, and much like those who've gone before him, he makes us dig deep & explore our levels of tolerance. Also i'm not sure where else in the world would embrace & encourage (or take to their heart), a man with an alar ego like Grayson's "Clare", let alone be a public figure. An artist like Perry is to be cherished Nette (I shall report back later after the opening) *now what frock shall I wear*
  14. I'm keen to look at the list for the potential head of state (in our new/fantasy republic that is) Nette(?)
  15. Is this the betting thread ? Or is it about the beautiful game :-S
  16. I watched that programme too - Fascinating! Mind you, i'm just watching Michael jackson singing "Blame it on the boogie" whilst wearing a silver suit and a London policemans helmet - Fascinating! Spain is collapsing onto its knees and wants a mega handout - Fascinating! Nick Clegg is deputy PM - Fascinating! (there's a theme developing here) Nette:-S
  17. I think ol' "Jams" is stuck (somewhere) :-S

  21. AND In fairness, I did only suggested that she was engaged in a little lite-trolling ( the one without mayo & extra cheese ) [quote name=I'm almost given to think that this whole thing is a lite-trolling exercise. Incendiary phrase & words wedged in-between seemly legitimate concerns and commendable actions only reinforce my feeling on this one] AND given her rant on "class, social housing, testicles, education and the likes" I stand by what I wrote, it was appropriate in my view following her OP AND you'll note, in her later post she's reigned back on all that class-war nonsense and stuck with the subject, which is commendable Lastly, she hasn't (to my knowledge) complained about/referred to the accusation herself, has she ? NO *flicks hair* Nette:-S(tu)
