  1. Please Give Watched this last night ( lovefilm ) Ahh yes, I liked it very much. There's a whole thing going on about the pursuit and provenance of "collectables & vintage " furniture etc, which made me laugh out-loud. ( I very nearly fell off my danish leather Stouby sofa ) NETTE:)
  2. Oh joy of JOY There are some fine & thoroughbred EDF pedants at work here ( actually if you put a peg on your nose and read the thread out-loud "Kenneth Williams" stlye, it really does bring it to life ) ah-ha NETTE(tu)
  3. Is there a health food for Dyslexia ( ironically I can spell dyslexia without using spell check..cra-zee I know ) If so I'd eat laods of it. N(tu)

  11. No no... We are a subjects aren't we. So, we should use the succession scale. The highest level would be "An Elizabeth the II" The lowest would be a "Princess Anne" It makes sense you know. NETTE:)
  12. Red devil is right. It's the pole bracket to ceiling that will be the weakest link, you'll need to fix to a joist. Though make sure to have a pole that is up to it. Try here. If your heavy interlined curtains break a 51mm Ash pole then i'll eat my proverbial hat. A.Curtain
  13. Morgan's mother is a distant relative of Manfred von Richthofen ( not a lot of people know that ) NETTE(tu)
  14. Try FOCUS TOOL HIRE 140 Gipsy Hill, Crystal Palace, London, SE19 1PW Telephone 020-8766-6364 I've dealt with HSS on many occasions professionally, all over London. Hand on heart, if they ( HSS ) were the last place on earth, then I'd rather dig the plot with a kitchen fork then do business with them. Yes I made a complaint/s & yes I received a written apology from their head office (in the end) but top down, what a bunch of c.nuts NETTE:)
  15. new mother Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Wondering how old ms curtain is? And whether, if a > school leaver, she was ever done for bullying? Ahhhh... I read this an hour ago & I'm still laughing. I do love the phrase "done for bullying" No new mother, never; but I did once, for about 2 minutes over-persecute a boy in my year, only to be smacked square on the nose by his huge friend. Leaving me with claret all down my shirt blouse. That as they say "Learned me" However, *ahem*..... I did have a particular skill for filling other peoples heads with my "creative" ideas or plans. What you might call a B.I ( bad influence ). Teachers still recoil from me remember me to this day. One or two even decide to leave the school the same year as I left, choosing to pursue other careers. As for age, well put it this way. I can clearly remember the days of punk rock & two-tone. Now, on with The PEG GAME ? NETTE(tu) * adds new mother to; the list *
  16. SAH coaching in Dulwich Really friendly for 4 -14 year old children. Scott is a P.E teacher and runs a Football group on Dulwich College sports fields, they are very well set up & take good care of the children in their care. They do a week by week Mon - Thursday tournament for all levels No shouty parents on the touch line either 5 Bloomhall Road Dulwich SE21 7LD Tel: 07824 557859 Nette:)
  17. The waste put in the BROWN bins goes to very good use. The bin company process it into organic compost which they sell for ?12 for 150 lts. You can cash and carry it from the depot in Camberwell ( turn left at McDonalds off of the Walworth Road ) While you're there pop into Walworth Community Garden which is 5 minutes further down the same road. It's a bloomin' marvellous compost/soil conditioner too. I've used it to improve the soil in my raised beds & they are abundant with flowers, herbs and soon to be veg. I just wish the Lewisham borough did the same as Southwark. But all the same, keep it coming. NETTE(tu)

  24. We went to The Vic in Bellenden Road. Beef was absolutely fantastic. Service was great. We sat outside to eat & then played a few games of table football inside with my boys. What joy. NETTE(tu)
  25. Ah Moos, what joy. We love the stories. I can see "How to Chop an Onion" as a broadsheet column. ( Bridget Jones meets Antony Bourdain ) And it does get easier with practice. (honest) NETTE:)
