Steady trickle of people atm.. Miss being able to fold the ballot paper(s) and 'pat' it(them) decisively into the slot though - sliding them in flat like that - felt like I was feeding a shredder...

This is true and if you enter via the third door (walking away from LL) you can get access to the 'jerk' room where you may be able to meat meet like-minded pals.

  18. On visiting the co-op this munch-time I was exhorted by a colourful group of three young men to "reject the words of Jesus Christ" and "embrace Islam". I refused to be distracted and - pausing only to glance at the immobile figure in the Salvation Army uniform stood by the exit in what appeared to be baffled but stoic silence - went in search of eatables. I assumed (wrongly) the SA chap would be confused by the - as he might see it - encroachment on to his 'preaching' turf and expected him to stay stood still (as it were), but on leaving I noticed him engaged in hearty debate with two of the young men. Thus were both parties happily negating each others attempts to preach to and otherwise 'God-bother' the good folk of ED. A happy result that should be the subject of a parable when the atheists get around to writing a bible...

As a Kiwi you either have: An in-built inferiority complex which often manifests itself as political agression and casual violence (with some big brash neighbours) - oh, and you like a beer. or- You are an independent free-thinking imaginative individual, secure in your identity and possessed of cultural awareness (with the same big brash neighbours) - oh, and you like a beer. And- Your countrymen are known to be great travellers and can be found as barstaff in the most un likely places... You are obviously an honorary Irishman and therefore exempt.

Apparently I should vote Lib Dem with Greens second - it didn't ask whether or not I thought Paddick was an arse though so I shall be ignoring the advice of this obviously LibDem/Green sponsored site...
  22. This thread needs to be renamed to stop attracting rubber-neckers like me who thought something 'Ugly' had happened... might I suggest "Minor and subsequently overblown event"? or "Woman swears at another woman in street (she may have been drunk and/or homeless)"?
  23. The Co-op sells whole free-range chickens as well as packs of free-range thighs and drumsticks etc. they also sell RSPCA/Freedom Food Chickens and packs (cheaper) and standard chicken (cheaper still).
  24. I've done this too (booked free ticket I mean) - PGC - I'm presuming you went through all the 'Create Account stuff and registered your email and a password so... When you get the options of filling in your email and password with the lines underneath saying: 'activate account' (and under that Forgot Password?) - that's only for those who are already Surrey CCC members not those who have just registered email and password to get these tickets (hence the M number) so don't press that button - just press the LOGIN > box which is underneath. hope this helps.
