  1. The title on an information notice at Guys Hospital; "The Role Played by Physiotherapy in Managing a Dizzy Patient"
  2. Man one - did he: pick a good one/wave when he got to the bridge/score? Man two - if you heard it, it aint sneaky.
  3. If the above songs are anything to go by, a lot of not-yet-corpses are following my example and are determined to make the guests at their passing die of boredom. Sheesh already.
  4. Are we just thinking in terms of music? Surely a video compilation of hilarious events captured throughout ones life, a la YBF or Rude Tube, and ending in a freeze frame of self in mawkish pose while Jane McDonald does a cover of All Kinds Of Everything. Feck 'em - if I'm stiff as a board then I want everyone else bored stiff. *I'll get my shroud*
  5. Makes me think of 70s kids' television. Back then the address Magpie always gave out at the end of the show (for unrequited love letters to Susan Stranks) was Thames Television, Teddington Lock, Middlesex. I think it was also the punchline for a few of Larry Grayson's jokes.

  7. New Carpet eh? Well there are a number of shops having a spruce-up or going through changes. Kaival's newsagent is shut for "major construction" until end of June, Haus of Woof still being knocked into a cafe/nightclub, Plough Sainsbrees having major refit, major facelift and interior work at old Moulin, Gastronimia gutted and awaiting new estate agent tenants, Speedo Pizza gone. planning notice through the post re cinema development (so that looks a long process), Irish shop closed and empty. Ditto Draft House (yes I know about FM but right now it's empty) On the good news front - Bruno's will soon (end of May -ish) have a Provencal Rose on draught (the barrel is currently being constructed) - and it will be chilled too. Just in time for the summer :)

Surely this is a UKIP gag - this kind of ranting garbage can't be for real can it? My guess is a deleted scene from Four Lions. "Stop this hate against Muslims. It is not them who are terrorists , but all those who imply they are with the help of media you try bringing others to your side giving false details - twin towers wasn't Muslim either - that was the Americans - "

Well someone thinks BFS is history... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2623257/Sam-Allardyce-faces-SACK-West-Ham-despite-guiding-Premier-League-safety-again.html Fact or fantasy - it may brighten someone's day B) (did mine)

  14. Limnanthes douglasii From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Limnanthes douglasii Family: Limnanthaceae Genus: Limnanthes Limnanthes douglasii is a species of annual flowering plant in the family Limnanthaceae (meadowfoam) commonly known as poached egg plant or Douglas' meadowfoam. It is native to California and Oregon, where it grows in wet, grassy habitat, such as vernal pools and spring meadows springing from buried hens eggs - often seen in plant pots in this form. The plant was collected by the Scottish explorer and botanist David Douglas, who worked on the west coast of America in the 1820s and its seed was at first thought to be the abandoned hoard of secretive foxes.(12)

So many teams at this time of year get casual/lax against teams that seemingly have nowt to play for. Liverpool blew it. ManC could too though.

So we have the possibility of a Manchester side just needing (and fully expecting) to beat a less-than-dazzling West Ham side on the final day of the season to clinch the title... reminds me of something...

TBH they didn't look great in the last round either " dull and tentative and tetchy and could be vulnerable if the mancs can put a barnstorming 'run-at-the-buggers'-type attack" - but then they were only playing ManU :)

Rail against is a tad harsh - take the piss maybe? When I dressed as "an autonomous individual who aint conformin' man" I was fine with old duffers mocking me and/or tutting under their breath. Good. They didn't 'get it' - and I didn't want them to. I certainly didn't want them to "Get with it, daddy-o." If we (old gits) didn't mock and tut and shake our sage-ly heads at the young they will be denied the warm glow of satisfaction that we cardigan-wearing coffin-dodgers can only get with a Horlicks when it's at just the right temperature.

Agree we wouldn't be safe with Allardyce but that was his usp for Sullivan & Gold and my fear is they'll put this year down to Carroll's injury and a mistake in the transfer market and a bit of bad luck and think he is STILL the best tw*t for the job.

Would rather struggle without BFS than be safe in top 15 with him. Oh, And Nolan can f*** off too.
