On this - how do Spurs fans feel now Adebayor is back and banging in the goals? All is forgiven? Welcome back?

No fair - I thought Negredo and Aguero were going to have a night off? Not actually doing that badly considering... and at least Morrison & Carroll started - I love a lost cause *...*. COYI :) *insert predictable "that's why you support The Irons" remark here*

I tried looking toward the past and got such a crick in the neck. My tip? - Hot water bottles are on the way back and those grain/rice-filled microwaveable cloth-sausage-things are great for a stiff neck.

  9. I haven't been up NXrd mkt in a couple of weeks or so - mainly because of the absence of Guy Sparkes' van - but I like the little Italian stall when it's there, and the Blackbird bread & cakes, and a couple of other foody ones - okay so it's more a deli-come-foodcourt-come-secondhandstuff kind of market but it's a pretty dull end of the street the rest of the week.

Gotta getta new plan Sam. Letting the opposition do what they like for 45 minutes in the hope they'll get tired or fed up and you can bring on your half-fit strike force (Morrison&Carroll) to nick the match later don't work when they finish it before the interval. You plank.

1st half hopeless - falling apart - an O.G. to keep us in it. Why not give Morrison and Carroll a run out if they're fit enuogh to be on the bench. Roll the dice y'miserable prck. ETA - Morrison just on. Maybe he really ISN'T keeping him under wraps to get a high transfer fee....
  12. Anyone know what this is going to be? Passing by I saw two large attractive barrels with chrome taps and a bar/counter against one wall - is it another cafe/bar/deli? Where are Woody's spies?

    The Beatles

Saying the Beatles are overrated is overrated and overdone.
  17. Are you sure it's squatters and not a Pop-Up Nick? Glad to see the building being used and hope it sets a trend for all commercial properties that are left empty for a long period.
  18. As a West Midlander I know the Tamworth area a little (my Father worked up there for a while). Despite being officially in Staffs you'll find it much easier and quicker to get into Birmingham and Coventry than Leicester and there's much more to do in Brum these days than in the past so you're not totally in the boondocks - and the surrounding countryside is as attractive as anywhere else & with a good quota of pretty villages & pubs.
