  2. Contemptible, underhanded and cuntish. Surprised "Pink and Blues" isn't on that list. FFS.
  3. Thanks BNG...posted and shared the FB link...
  4. It feels grim and uninviting...especially with the rushed black-painted hoarding.
  5. ...so if you've 3 grumpy kids, a heavy buggy, tons of shopping, have trouble walking up hill to the next stop which is some distance, or are just generally feeling knackered...then turn back towards the bus stop opposite Kings.
  6. I'm in provided you don't mind dodgy knees, a bad back and ... (tu) :)) Alan Medic, Old Fart, you're an old fogey...what about you?

  8. I second Callows for locksmith. The Hunter Brothers (Billy and Scott) for plumbing.
  9. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Why didn't you ask for a receipt? We used MT once...they did an OK job..but refused to give a receipt when asked. We now go to KF and find them very good. The last time we went for what we thought might be a new tyre but the guy who served us showed us the point where a screw had pierced the tyre and repaired it/checked it out without fuss or scaremongering.
  10. Sue, I use soda crystals.

  13. The Spin Dr. is most definitely back. Competent, efficient and very honest/reasonably priced. Thank you Steve.
  14. Hi there, I recommended someone a short while ago: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1839193,1850556#msg-1850556 and http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1850469,1850554#msg-1850554 Give him a call. We are very pleased with his workmanship.
  15. Can anyone recommend someone else in the meantime. I'm getting electric shocks off my dishwasher...feck... No cowboys/girls or self-recommendations by private message please...I shall delete them without responding. Thanking you all in advance.
  16. I sung the praises of the Hunter brothers/Hunter Heating Solutions about a year ago. Billy recently returned to do some more work and I really cannot recommend him enough. Billy, I KNOW you read the forum...so thank you so much for the work that you do, your humour, your fabulous attitude, and - this time - for going above and beyond (Billy did an extra job which really wasn't within his remit at all). (tu)

  18. Having just got to grips with making up some business cards on Vista Print, I now wish to create an A3 poster (must be A3). VP provides for this, only the minimum purchase is 25 and I only want one. I am not very tekky minded (and struggled enormously with the business cards!) so, any advice suitable for a newbie with regard to such things, I would greatly appreciate. Thank you.

  21. Does anyone know please whether Tom King is still going? I've rung his number ending...859 several times and left a message...but nowt. He has so many recommendations, I'd like to use him. Thank you.

  23. I echo what mattH has said above - having used Andrew for my kitchen coving. He has done a beautifully neat job. He was also punctual, tidy and a pleasure to have around and his price was very reasonable. A truly nice guy too. I have no hesitation in recommending him. Give him a try. Telephone no. 07958217755.
