Perhaps given the vociferous responses so far, and the total criticism of the questionnaire (even the voluntary questions), those who would say yes aren?t going to do it on the public forum. A survey would be useful ..... ;)

I had a CS at King?s in 2015. The post natal Ward (William Gillat Ward) was horrible - staff were not nice, the Ward was so hot, the one bathroom was disgusting. There was no care. Second CS at Chelsea in 2017, midwives were all lovely, clean, efficient. It felt safer.

Re reserving a space for the school or nursery run. If you have more than one child, it can be quite difficult to get them all from the car to the house, if the car has to be parked miles away, and not leave any child alone. It?s like one of those logic puzzles where you have a fox and a rabbit in a boat ....! To save all that, bins in the road for 5mins, doesn?t seem so bad. It?s not really about that particular space, but being close enough to the house to get hem all in safely, where you can see etc It can

Re: builders using bins to 'reserve' parking. This is happening every day on our street too. I don't mind if it's irregular to allow for deliveries, but it's just for them to park their vehicle outside. is there a permit they can get to ensure parking/space on delivery days?

This is now on Archdale road with the alarm going off intermittently again. I will put a note on it.

Chuff - I'm not sure that's right (that dogs can be off lead on the lawns/grass just outside of the children's play areas. The byelaw says dogs must be on lead for the 'central area' & sports pitches, and the Friend's map seems to show dogs being exercised (I presume off lead) only around the perimeter of the park eg outside the circle of those 'dogs must be kept on a short lead' signs. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/assets/attach/2275/Dulwich_Park_Trail_2011.pdf

Does anyone know what the rules are for Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye Park re: dogs being on leads? I have checked the council websites and 'friend's of' websites, and nothing. I have seen the actual signs in Both parks re 'dogs must be on a short lead', but does that relate to the whole park, or just the area behind the sign? Thanks for your help,

It's not exactly a one off but tonight they are especially loud: shouting/singing/music. Does anyone know what the address is please?

Usually I'm afraid it's because there are more category 1 calls than there are ambulances. They have to ask questions to prioritise based on risk to life eg no breathing, poor breathing, weak heart beat etc. The questions are evidenced based, but not perfect. Every call is an emergency (except of course the hundreds that aren't, but there is no easy way to identify which is which, hence the questions). Ambulances do also have to queue at hospital to handover patients, so sometimes many are out of action. More money & more resources are needed, and less time wasters clogging up the system (obviously not this case).

We live on ED Grove and had a guy knock on the door repeatedly & look through letter box: we didn't know him, he was holding a few dusters, it was 9.30pm so I didn't answer. Maybe entirely unrelated, but it felt odd.

I had exactly the same problem recently: 2.5 weeks to get a nurse or dr appt out of office hours/start or end of each day. Receptionist was so rude. I used the out of hours doc in the end to get a standard prescription. I understand the surgery has 2/3 of appts as bookable on the day, so only 1/3 in advance - hence stupid waits in the telephone at 8am and no idea how much work you need to miss just to get routine meds. Annoying. An going to write to the practice manager and the pct.

Hello We've had a rubbish Virgin service (tv & Internet) for months - the engineer has shown us that when a new person joins (East Dulwich Grove) they have been dividing the one cable, rather than inserting a new cable for each residence. Sometimes they just unplug us and plug in our neighbour. They unplugged us again yesterday 17 Jan as apparently they fixed someone else's on that day! Is anyone else suffering poor Virgin services or had the same thing? I am asking for a refund or plan to sue them. ?50 a month from each flat and 1 cable! Argh! G

I was approached on Friday Night by a strange looking guy in a tracksuit asking me to look at him because he'd 'been stabbed' top of derwent grove & Ed grove. He was asking for money. My friend says he did it the week before too!

I think the original post was v useful - I live on the corner of the street and it makes me more vigilant. Sorry to hear about it, and good work on the usain bt impression. When I got followed home the police advised me to kick him (but I chose to run instead!) x

Not posted here before but thought I should mention that I was followed home last night (Friday 11 march 10pm) by a guy who was exposing himself. He was about 16-17 in a black tracksuit with around 8 mates (all same sort of age, track suits, black) he had a left earring and black trainers with a red stripe/swoosh). They were sat on the wall on the corner of derwent grove and east Dulwich grove initially. Only left me alone when I shouted and said I was going to call the police. He was really weird & not at all scared. The police said there has been a few recently including Dulwich park. Anyway, may never reocurr, but thought it might help to be aware.
