  1. George McFly?
  2. I wasn't actually being serious. Yes there is social housing, or certainly housing which was social, and is now worth a fortune to those that bought it for pennies.

  4. As if Social Housing would EVER be allowed in the Village. You've heard of "poor doors" on some modern housing developments? Well I imagine anyone living in social housing would be forced to enter the village via underground tunnels so as not to offend the residents.
  5. That's really shit. I hate to see trees come down unnecessarily.
  6. I'm a member but haven't received any forms.
  7. I just hope lessons are learnt without them having to scapegoat somebody.

Yeah fine to have a picnic whilst spending some time at a grave. But not just for an outing. IMO
  9. Bravo dbboy. We have amazing woods around here, a cemetery is not a leisure spot. No problem with people walking around it, but it's not a bloody picnic destination.
  10. It's bad that they do now.
  11. And apparently Child Destruction can carry a sentence of up to life https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_destruction And GBH Nwith intent isn't exactly a slap on the wrist.
  12. So Calzaghe could have done us all a favour by knocking him about a bit early on.
  13. Ah yes, I didn't read the headline at the top. And a teaching assistant to. So that's his life completely screwed then (good).
  14. Saturday would be good (especially if Dulwich Hamlet were playing at home). I'd be happy with 25th July as it's my birthday weekend and would give me something to do with no need to arrange. But as you say, people will be on holidays...
  15. Yeah, fair point, but in his head he'll think he has a great legacy which would be at risk. It's funny really, he desperately wanted Calzaghe, who had no reason to fight the younger hungrier fighter...
  16. Yeah I'd just read that http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-33177590 So either the father, or possibly some jealous attack... Obviously I don't know, but either way a real nasty nasty piece of work.
  17. Froch has admitted that he knows how risky this fight would be. What's really in it for him in terms of his lagacy. Nothing to gain, everything to lose.
  18. It was a silly move, but frankly anyone that would bother collecting the ashes of a cat needs a lesson in the harsh reality of the world.
  19. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Would go to a reunion if someone can be > arsed to organise; wouldn't go to regular meet ups > now Same here. I don't get enough opportunities to go out to commit to a regular thing, but would definitely be up for a one off, especially if we could tempt a few people *waves at lurking Strafer* to visit for the night.

  21. Haha, get snorky in there!
  22. How does one afford to drink in pubs regularly these days? Drinking out has become a feckin expensive habit, I for one simply can't do it anymore. Was at the Plough for about 2 hours on Saturday and done just short of ?35.
  23. I'm not really great at meeting and chatting to new people, so spent most of the drinks either outside chain smoking, or under the influence of something you couldn't buy behind the bar. Mike, that one at the Mag was THE first ever one. I was there for a bit but think I ran away back to the safety of the CPT. But still met lots of people that to this day (and bare in mind these events were 8 years ago) range from good friends, to people I might see occasionally, to Facebook friends. I am pleased to have met them all.
  24. Have to wonder if the attacker was the father. Either way he's scum of the highest order and I hope.someone stamps on him very soon.
