That pretty much sums it up. (Maxxi's post) We are remembered by what we leave behind, so great musicians, artists, scientists, discoverers are immortalised by their work. But if like the vast majority of people, you leave no significant mark on the world, then eventually you'll be forgotten. We're all just insignificant specs really.

Whilst I'm not disagreeing, I hope no one recently bereaved happens upon that post.

Well Rafa has made some not so subtle noises. I don't really think it would be good for anyone if Liverpool dig their heels in and make him stay, so as an England fan I'd like to see him go and get some experience overseas. It's what we need more young players doing.

So anyway, some newspapers saying Sterling would consider a move to United. There were stories saying United had made contact and Liverpool had immediately said hell no. I would hate to see Liverpool sell a promising player to United, but Sterling has shown such a lack of loyalty to Liverpool that it's no surprise at all that he'd have no problems moving to United.

Barca's transfer embargo has come at a good time for them. It's not like they're short of quality. Are they alloweds to sell? Benitez said he shouldn't comment too much about Sterling because he's another club's player, which is code for he'll soon be our player. With Rogers staying at the pool, Sterling looks certain to be off. A move somewhere like Real could be good for England (if he can get a game) and frankly I'd rather have a nice transfer fee than a player who doesn't want to play for his club. Just not sure I trust Rogers to spend said fee.
