I guess the big question RE The Patch is how many people are in there? I can barely afford to go to the pub these days, but I accept that these places aren't really for the likes of me. If people are going in and paying the prices, then it's working.

The Magnolia was very cold. The yellow Mag felt lively, and I actually liked it. The Mag before that was not the open space it is now, and was completely different. It definitely wouldn't fit in today's ED.

I like apple gear, but would tend to avoid buying due to unjustifiable (IMO) pricing, and the other reasons TED gives above.

When these first came out, they were very expensive. Now you see cheapo ones on every counter of every corner shop and off license. If I was going to buy one (which I think I will), I would go for a more "top end" one.

When was the last time a season was this close at this stage? Liverpool top at christmas, lose 2 games, and down to 5th, get a win and back in top 4. One loss at the moment can make a huge difference. Going to be an interesting second half of the season whatever happens. I reckon Spurs may still have something to say about the top 4 (although hopefully not at Liverpool's expense!). Chelsea are quietly winning games, would love to see them have a bad patch!

I very occasionally use WhatsApp for a couple if mates. Necer use the messenger on Facebook and think it's crap. But enjoy Facebook for keeping up.
