  1. I've been very lucky with my trips to Anfield (which used to be at least once a month when I lived there), only seen one loss and that was a derby match on a Wednesday night in about '99.
  2. I don't know what it is about Froch, he's a great british fighter, and I wish I could support him, but he just comes over as such a dick.

I'm the same. Very very talented lad, but not my bag.

Missed last night, but have now accepted that Christopher will make the final because a lot of stupid people seem to like the freak!
  6. Well that was a good first trip to Anfield in 11 years, and a correct prediction, hurrah! First half was more of the same, with Liverpool owning the ball but having no bite. Second half they were superb! Can anyone tell me whether Suarez stamped someone? The incident happened not far from where we were sat, but I honestly didn't see anything that looked like a stamp, but first to admit that I don't have the best eye sight. Only downwr was that I was in the bog when the first goal happened!
  7. In my experience an ERPC is done pretty quickly here.
  8. Excellent news! Don't go beating yourself up, life's too short, and you know now.
  9. Perhaps the patrons could have kept an eye on their watches if they felt the need to observe the silence.

Who said romance is dead:) On our anniversary a few weeks back we went to Westfield with the intention of buying some nice things for my wife. Instead we spent about an hour and a half in Primark getting shed loads of kids stuff. Then we had to get back for the kids.
  11. What, with the kids asleep in the back? :-0
  12. PS. Go Ruth with the Butt hurting slagging! ;-)
  13. Dudley this is not a competition, of course many women have suffered or died due to poor health care in this country. This is about a specific case in which, if reports are proven correct, a woman died because of a medical decision based on religious ideology. IF that is true then it is absolutely unacceptable. Religion has no place in medical decisions made by medical practitioners. If an individual makes a decision which leads to their death based on religious beliefs that is very sad, but their choice. A hospital has no place making those decisions for someone!
  14. "In answer to the op, I'd be happy to have the bed to ourselves without a small person in the middle kicking me in the head!" This is why I basically spend most nights in the spare room or on a matress at the end of the bed whilst the kids spread out in MY spot! RE That 50 shades woman... http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/11/12/article-0-145A3707000005DC-285_306x423.jpg The bloke made the right move!

  16. "I read earlier this week that a couple have divorced due to the book and the fact the husband wouldn't meet his wife's unrealistic demands." No way?!?!?!? I know this is probably a bit nasty, but I can't help but think that people are a bit thick when I see them reading that shite!
  17. Shaunag, you seem desperate to be offended quite frankly. Straferjack has every right to say what he likes about the country he is from. Rather than calling him racist, why dopn't you argue with his points and explain to us why they are wrong?
  18. How often do people get out without the kids? Think in 3.5 years we've been out 4 times, for 2 hours a time MAX! Mrs Otta hopefully coming to my gig tomorrow night which I'm over the moon about, but she'll get there just in time for my set, and leave pretty much straight after.
  19. Sleeping naked together would be lovely...,If we even got to share a bed!
  20. shaunag, Straferjack is Irish.
  21. Not sure this would have happened "Judaism does not forbid abortion, but it does not permit abortion on demand. Abortion is only permitted for serious reasons." "Muslims regard abortion as wrong and haram (forbidden), but many accept that it may be permitted in certain cases." Dudley, I was trying to be lighthearted. I am not having a go at Ireland, and I am not having a go at Catholics. I am however having a big go at the fact this woman died and it MAY WELL have been avoidable.
  22. Firework displays. They cost a lot.
  23. Arsenal 2 - Tottenham 2 (wanted to say spurs 3) Liverpool 3 - Wigan 0 (my first trip to Anfield in over 10 years, so hoping for a good show... May well be disappointed) Man City 2 - Aston Villa 2 Newcastle 3 - Swansea 2 QPR 2 - Southampton 1 Reading 1 - Everton 2 West Brom1 - Chelsea 1 Norwich 1 - Man Utd 3 Fulham 2 - Sunderland 0 West Ham 3 - Stoke 1
