Not had much gaming time what with new baby and a toddler, but finally managed half hour to look at L.A. Noire. First impressions are very good, the look and feel are cool, and the gameplay just like RDR or GTA4. Basically, it's another good game from rockstar.

Is it just me, or is calling someone a loser, and telling them they suck, unlikely to help them in their efforts to "peace out"?

For the most part, I agree with StraferJack's long post. However, I do tend to agree with magoie that some sections of the media would quickly accuse the police of heavy handedness if they waded in. They are damned if they do, and damned if they don't.

I'm on Sydenham high street, and suddenly all the shutters are down and everyone is closing. Heard people saying that the big Sainabury's in lower Sydenham has been "done" but don't know if there is any truth in that.
