We had a sport, which I found was very heavy, and you had to be really careful to put the brake on or hold on to it, or it would roll off. What I did like about it was the cacoon carry cot for the newborn, because they could sleep and you could just lift it out without waking them.

I play guitar and both my girls have shown a lot of interest. They are 6 and 4, the 6 year old has high functioning ASD and hypermobility, so not sure she'd manage the fine motor skill aspect. Has anyone got experience of starting their kids off early? If so, how did they get on? Also, can anyone recommend lessons that aren't a complete rip off?

Think I went 2-2 at Palace. So it'll probably be an easy win one way or the other.

Not sure about that now. Sturridge pulled up in training yesterday, so not in the squad. Divock Origi leading the line...

Howard Kendall has died aged 69. Seems so young these days.

I like Rafa's response to BFS. His opinion "does not have a lot of value".

Bad start for Klopp, Danny Ings out for the season.

Are you looking for work during school hours?
Otta replied to spoonty's topic in The Family Room Discussion
FFS, get over yourself. They posted on a forum used mostly by mothers, and aimed their post at that audience. It's not like they put a sign up in the job centre asking for just "mummies". You come across as someone that will look for offence even when none is meant, and your post above about racial descrimination is just a joke, and an insulting one at that. Don't get me wrong, the word "mummies" is vomit inducing, and it's good that it was changed to "parent", but the point is they were trying to offer a job opportunity. I'd rather see that opportunity with some badly selected wording than not see it at all. -

To be fair, if your child is having to stay in A&E, it's not going to be a great experience wherever you are.

Well that will be the last time spoonty tries to do a good thing on here, well done EDF give yourself a hand. I actually clicked on this thread because it might have been of interest for my wife. Thanks for screwing that up for everyone. Idiots. -

But also true that these groups ate often priced out of the schools they want their children to go to. -

"My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic" (and spin of Equestria Girls films) are VERY popular with my girls at the moment (loads of it on Netflix). I think this is a great show, most of the main characters are female, and they're all different. I confess to becoming a bit of a brony. -
State secondary schools further afield - any advice?

I'm not saying it was a bad school at all, but it wasn't seen as a top choice back then (I'm talking late 80s!!!) You had to be a > practising Catholic with a priests letter too. This definitely wasn't the case, one of my best friends went there (a year ahead of me so would have started 88), and he certainly wasn't catholic. -
Haha, Fergie is a big fan too.

State secondary schools further afield - any advice?

I'm genuinely really pleased to hear about Deptford Green and St Thomas the Apostle doing well and being popular. When I was at school Deptford Green was shit, and St Thomas was where you went if you didn't get in to your first choice. Glad times have changed (this was the days when catchment areas were not an issue). -
Yep, I've been convinced she has other usernames on here. Although one that I was sure was her has since convinced me that they're not.

I don't hate him, but I do think he is ego driven and more self interested than he'd have us believe.

Just for clarity, and to avoid any mistakes on forms, Sydenham HIGH for girls is an independent fee paying school. Sydenham School is the state girls school on Dartmouth Road. -

Rogers CLAIMED that he had final say, so whilst he might not have gotten his dream list, he gave the green light for what they did buy.
