(not surprising given previous posts!) Scarlett is hilarious on I'm a Celeb: she's very funny up for it, and, geniune I reckon. I think they should do a Gogglebox where they watch that...:)

oh my god - just seen UKIP dad on Channel 4 news, at a UKIP rally....

Agree with all of the above - especially Giles and Mattie - (except i don't fancy either sister) I want to be adopted by the Siddiqui family - they seem so lovely. The vicar was annoying beyond belief so glad she's gone. The 2 hairdressers are as hilarious as the UKIP-dad family are dull and irritating. (I reckon the mum has gin in that mug of hers). Def one of the best things on telly right now.

Two rescued Greek stray puppies looking for loving homes
Take Note replied to anelia's topic in The Lounge
I don't think it's distasteful in anyway. I think what you've done is highly commendable and if I had the money / space / time etc etc I'd help out. My only concern is we have enough shelters full of unwanted dogs here of our own. What Greece (and other countries for whom these charities work tirelessly and with little money) is funding for education and vaccinations to bring the doggie population down. Another charity is K-9 Angels but I know they are stretched, too. That said, I do hope they find a loving home very soon :) Keep us updated. -
I'd happily put that up. Drives me mad...

6 dogs stolen from dog walker in Forest Hill

Another point which I think needs addressing, is the growing obsession we seem to have to buy these new designer cross-breeds. Maybe these little dogs are often being stolen to order for breeding purposes. The sooner people stop buying cross-breed puppies online - or anywhere else - the better. There are already plenty of cross-breeds needing homes as it is. Anyway, I really feel for the owners and hope these dogs are reunited with their owners soon. -

Agree with Sue - good post tasha1. Really don't know what the answer is.

....And my family (celtic) are astonished at how rude and lacking in general hospitality they are.
-
what an arsehole - there really is no excuse for rudeness. That;s the French for you *takes cover* (My brother married into a French fam)
-
Lady Norwood - what does "well covered" mean? Genuinely no idea. I thought hairy? It's a shame he was so rude to your husband, but not surprising I suppose. He comes off as so wonderfully lovely, whereas others can be openly rude. Marcus Wareing (who terrifies me) said on t'radio the other morning in an interview, that the whole shouty sweary borderline abusive stuff is becoming a thing of the past. He basically said in olden days what went on behind closed (kitchen) doors, stayed. Personally I hated working in a kitchen - just wasn't thick skinned enough. And I think all the effing and blinding and screaming at young people can't be a good thing. Or am I just a woos? I love Monica too but I think she's just for the Professionals. Greg knows nothing about food unless it's covered in syrup, and the other one thinks he knows everything about food, but only likes Asian style cooking. I think all they need now is the VO from Big Brother. It can't be more lethargic than India Fisher.

You always cheer me up Jeremy :) Let us know what you decided, Loz - there's some great suggestions there. Have a good Good Friday :)

Professional dog walkers a menace
Take Note replied to Ben Reeve-Lewis's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
"The point at issue is that whenever I walk him at Nunhead cemetary and pass a pack of hounds he gets attacked." This is awful - but if your dog is being attacked every time you walk in Nunhead cemetery, you need to call the police. If your vet is needed, the dog-walkers should be insured and therefore you'd be covered. Regarding the possibility of you breeding, presumably the litter he has will all need homes. Are these all going to be homes where the owner(s) will walk their own dog, or one where they work, and therefore need a dog-walker? -
They are not being taken from inside the properties as far as I am aware but they are often being dropped back so the owners find them. What the police fail to realise is that this is often how psychopathic murderers begin - with small animals. As horrific as it is already for the cats and their owners, we could be looking at something far more sinister so it really needs to be taken very seriously. The latest news a few weeks ago was he/she had moved onto dogs and even a fox.

Agree with Sue and rahrahrah. Looks horrid, and smacks of self-entitlement, too.

Dog mess all over Amott, Gowlett and Keston roads
Take Note replied to grancabrona's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Growlybear: There are endless threads about dog poo and yes it's annoying, especially as others have said - the owners of those poos probably don't read forums like this and certainly don't care anyway. But not half as annoying as having to clean it off your shoe. I always secretly hope the perps tread in some (unnoticed) then walk it all over their shag-pile. -
I think if you felt it was dodgy, then it was dodgy. Absolutely no harm in informing police
-
Agree with Jeremy and Richard Tudor - I went to school in Forest Hill, then Catford. Plenty of fights, but Not stabbings.
