Alternatively if you have two credit cards with sufficient limits you could transfer the amount from one to the other if the other offers a 0% rate for x number of months (I think a lot of cards do though they charge a small percentage of the amount as a fee).

    As a matter of interest isn't there any newsagent nearby who do paper deliveries? Reading online is ok but it's not quite the same as having a newspaper IMO.
