Otta, you perpetually appear to misunderstand me by telling me I'm trying to wind people up. However I'm sick of being told I'm throwing my toys out of the pram by someone/anyone who doesn't understand the non-point I might have been making. Half the point of my posts is that there isn't one. So sod it.
  2. Like most teams do away from home. You were after the hundred.........
  3. Not with some teams. Three ex pro's were guessing formations before the Manchester derby. Besides this is about ????'s statement not yours. Not sure why you needed to be sarcastic.'Bait' referred to the hundreds game in case you didn't know.
  4. Yes. You can see the team. The manager does not have hand in the formation before KO though. Are you aware of that?
  5. Anyway ????'s, how much of the game did you actually see? The MOTD highlights? How can you see a formation before KO? Bait!
  6. 4000.....you fell for that bait RD.
  7. Tin openers that don't do what it says on the...emm tin.
  8. You been on the vino PGC?
  9. Only whoever moved it. I'd still like to know about the tricks though.
  10. Oh. The cleaner is guilty? If you keep this up it will replace Downton for me.
  11. Please explain the concept. Do the kids have tricks prepared if there isn't a treat?
  12. Not always. I paid for a job to be done. It wasn't done as it should have been. I discussed it with the tradesman who made an excuse that what was on his website was out of date and written by his wife (honestly). I suggested a discount which he offered but wasn't acceptable to me. We agreed he finished the job for the original price. So in this case I didn't get what I paid for, originally.
  13. I presume Boylesports thinks it rains all the time here too. You didn't bring a hose then?
  14. How do you manage to be a loyal customer for years when it hasn't been open for years?
  15. How many sentences were there? My writing is so crap I'd probably write in capitals to make it easier to read. Saying that I think Nigello is only guilty of adding 2 and 2 and making 5.
  16. It's 17.3 on Betbright currently. Highest odds of all the runners.
  17. If you don't see any differences between the sexes you are more likely to be on Pluto. Nothing to do with one dominating the other.
  18. They will have to find me first Mick. I'll tell you where I won't be.....in the pub with Foxy. I'd die of thirst if I drank like him.

  20. Yesterday I had a key cut. It cost me ?3.50 for less than a minutes work. If I had one cut each minute for an hour that would be ?210. Is that reasonable? I had some windows repaired at home. Two people worked on them and were gone by 11.30 and charged nearly ?1000. Is that reasonable? This is why I'd like to know why people say something is 'reasonable'. Is it really? Define it so we know what you are talking about.
  21. Wow. Sexist comment or what. It's 'or what' actually. My point was that 'reasonable' is totally subjective as it means different things to different people. I threw in the bit about 'hubby' as there is probably some truth in it based on what I've read so far, but of course I knew in this PC world/forum somone would pick up on it. At least it gave RPC something to write about in the irrational rage thread (in case she was stuck) and maxxi the chance to have a dig, again. Of course you can call it a sexist comment, but if you don't realise that men and women are different then you are probably on Venus or Mars. Anyway, once I've completed my research on the Business thread I'll publish my findings which to this point I will admit are not proven and just a hunch.
  22. This is often the ending to a recommendation in the business section. I often wonder how many of the people who write that have a clue what's reasonable and what isn't. I suspect that most of them haven't a clue, don't pay the bill (hubby does) and are just happy the job is done to their satisfaction and the guys who did it were very nice and tidy too. Of course I could be completely wrong.
  23. Lay on City is 20/21 currently (1.97).
  24. Putting on the second sock (of a matched pair) only to find there's a bloody hole in it.
