  1. Well done for finding this thread so quickly. Some people will just start a new one willy nilly like, without even checking.
  2. God I can't stand the fact I'm sticking up for Scholes Why?
  3. Would that be more profitable than betting on City not to win?

  5. I'm curious why they would fly tip. Didn't they have a bin?
  6. Trying to match pairs of socks.
  7. 40/6 x 9 = 59.94.......in theory that quite consistent and would place me in the top 3.
  8. http://www.historyofirishtennis.ie/ See for yourself Mick.
  9. I've put a thread in the For Sale Section for an epic book of 3 volumes my brother wrote called The History of Irish Tennis. It's likely to appeal to people brought up anywhere in Ireland who had an interest in tennis. As threads seem to sink in that section rapidly I'm posting here. There a link to the website if you are interested.
  10. Jeysus, when I started drinking you could get 5 pints for less than a quid. Showing my age here.
  11. More urgently is the need to set up a 100's competition.
  12. Does that mean tj you don't have to purchase them? It is a huge amount for that fixture. I was looking at the RWC website yesterday and there were tickets for France v Ireland @ ?250 a pop. That's a lot too though a more attractive fixture. Mind you the way Fiji can play can be very entertaining.
  13. http://www.worldfootball.net/news/_n1291732_/borini-eager-to-renew-balotelli-link/ Borini makes his case to play with Mario. He did ok at Sunderland but Liverpool decided not to sell him. Why not give him a chance?
  14. I'm looking forward to United v Chelsea. Chelsea currently being the best team in the league but United having some exciting players. We could get stuffed, there could be goals and before ko you can always be hopeful of a surprise.
  15. How exactly do you measure any manager's achievements v those of the players v those of the backroom staff v those of the board?
  16. Good read.

It seems like a good explanation to me.
  18. Looks like a lot of people would like to know the answer to your question. I'm just nosey. What do you want removed and why? I have the impression rightly or wrongly that people have these done when they are under the influence of something or other and I don't see why you would if not. Being a Lady of course you don't have to answer.
  19. Well Neymar did after 3 minutes.
  20. Sky can't show the 1st 15 minutes of RM v Barca. I suppose the reasoning is sound but really who is actually going to get out of a football ground and home or elsewhere between full time and 5.15 to watch a televised match?
  21. I didn't even try Mick. Was thinking about that fixture today strangely enough. I didn't think it was part of the ballot as I'd read there were plenty of seats for games in Cardiff. I was also looking at the draw and if Ireland were to win their group (and that match is likely to be the decider) they could have a Q/Final v Argentina followed by a semi v England if they were to win. If they lose to France I think it's a Q/Final v NZ. But hey, we've got to beat them sometime.
  22. I'm just having a bit of fun Otta. I'm upset that maxxi chose to be abusive towards me but PD has done the same. I spent 6 months working at Upton Park and loved every day being able walk by the pitch, walk down the corridors by the managers office and the dressing rooms and finding out how much KB had difficulty in keeping a PA who would want to work with her. I hope they don't regret leaving there as it has history. I always see football grounds as being sort of churches dotted here and there around the country. That was like working in one. However I sincerely don't thing SA is as bad as some fans think and I think his point which you referred to about some managers not being adaptable is perfectly valid. When money allows it they may well choose another manager to take them to another level but that's in the future. Anyone remember Nigel Adkins? He was doing a great job at Southampton most people thought. He got sacked and the now Spurs manager took over. The point is that Southampton must have thought they were ready to improve on what he had achieved. When WH get to that point they will say adios to BFS.
  23. This is lazy of me as I'm sure everything you need to know is online. However, from what I've seen there are different qualification levels. Can anyone offer any advice? My son is thinking of doing one as he wants to travel and maybe continue his studies in China. This may give him the chance to earn some cash.
  24. He's probably started a thread elsewhere asking about you at that time of the morning.
  25. He called Poulter a 'lil girl'. Stupid but harmless. What will happen when Big Brother can read our thoughts?
