  1. Well if were talking excuses for our selections, I'll add that my Noddy and Big Ears EP was given to me and I was very young.
  2. Vinyl (owned) - Noddy & Big Ears (EP) Contained a line from Noddy as he washed up the dishes which I've never forgotten 'splishidy splash, why is water always so wet' I've spent my life trying to find the answer. Vinyl (frisbeed across the drawing room) - Tea for the Tillerman, Cat Stevens
  3. Can't understand why Southampton would sack their manager. Has the world gone mad?
  4. Surely there should be points for predicting postponements due to snow?

How does he do that WOD? Bars of soap annoy me as you can't really use all of it.
  6. Any standard? Why don't one of you 'outfield' players go in goal and advertise for a dashing centre forward?
  7. QPR 2 Tottenham 1 Aston Villa 2 Southampton 1 Everton 2 Swansea 0 Fulham 0 Wigan 0 Norwich 2 Newcastle 0 Reading 2 West Brom 1 Stoke 1 Chelsea 2 Sunderland 2 West Ham 2 Man Utd 3 Liverpool 2 Arsenal 1 Man City 1
  8. I still want to know how Pru managed to have a spaniel in one thread and a poodle in this one.
  9. Almost as big a shock when as you realised Tillie was a poodle and not a spaniel I guess.

  11. Given the exotic mix should not the CPTXI (RIP) be renamed The East Dulwich Barbarians? What about an annual trophy to play for?
  12. From what I can gather communication between affected daughter with parents and her older sister is difficult. It seems she will only communicate with her twin sister. She is writing weird stuff on FB and referred to her parents as 'interfering'. I know they want her to do a CBT course but just how she can be persuaded is hard to know. That must leave them feeling helpless. What can you do if someone suffering from this illness dosn't want your help or maybe any help? Has anyone experienced bipolar from this perspective?

    Micropub

Looking at that made me feel like I'd had too much to drink.
  14. I have. Inherited from my son who went through what I call a reptillian period when he was younger. I've had to overcome a fear of snakes to actually handle it. I still need a good drink before I do. It's only a milksnake.
  15. Frozen mice now cost a ?1 each in the pet shop. Snakey may have to go on a diet.
  16. What colours will the teams be wearing? I find that usually helps me decide.

  19. I'll be in too so that makes 10.
  20. I want to thank everyone for their input so far, especially LadyD. I've been cutting and pasting lots of extracts from the thread and sending them to my brother. He is very appreciative of it (thanks to you guys and the PM's).

I take your points about the 'maxxi's and retract my initial query. Not likely to happen anyway. I would argur though that the <75% ers should be shown lower in the table than others who have less points. For e.g El Pibe can not longer reach the magical 75% as there are not enough weeks left. Don't mind me though. I just like rules. As for the Cup, I still don't get that. If you only have 8 entries and have 8 q/finalists, everyone qualifies and makes the 3rd,4th and 5th rounds of the cup pointless. I know someone will tell me what I've missed.

  23. I'd love to know what got you watching rugby GB.
  24. Glad you like the tip Mick. I'm feeling generous and will be happy to share my winnings with you. I'm sure you will offer to split the losses with me, however unlikely that is. Still, would be a great gesture.
