  2. What are the chances.........Bale to Madrid, Ronnie back to Manchester and Rooney to Paris? I wouldn't be too sorry to see Rooney leave United and I'd like Ronaldo to come back. I put Bale into the equation as Madrid would need a big signing to compensate losing Ronaldo. Maybe I should try and get a job with a tabloid.
  3. One reason for wanting English clubs to do well is the fact that if they don't, eventually the number that qualify for the CL will be reduced. Four entries is not written in stone but based on performances.

    Chips

We have real chips at home by buying real potatoes. Seems to work every time.
  5. Regardless of the harshness or otherwise of the red card for Nani, many teams win games being a man down. I don't think United adapted to the change Real made by bringing on Modric and for a while looked all over the place and lacking composure. Saying that RVP has not been scoring recently and Rooney is more miss than hit as he showed with his effort near the end. Having heard Keane talk about how it was a red card (he's the expert), it finally got me off the fence to decide he's an effin eeget.
  6. Bout time Nani did something. Maybe tonight.
  7. That's if you own a mac Foxy.
  8. What would a cat do?
  9. My colleague's child has put a restriction on her phone and they don't know the password. She has tried O2 who spoke with Apple, without success. She doesn't want to lose her contacts list which is what would have happened if she followed their advice. Can anyone recommend a solution please?
  10. Borussia Dortmund 2 Shakhtar Donetsk 1 (agg 2-2) Man Utd 2 Real Madrid 2 (agg 1-1) Juventus 2 Celtic 1 (agg 3-0) Paris SG 2 Valencia 0 (agg 2-1)
  11. My niece from Sevilla has extended her stay in ED for another month. She is doing an English course but has reduced her daily hours and thus has more time to socialise. She's a very sociable 29 year old and was all set to go to the pub on her own on Friday. Well I stepped in and decided to go with her but realise now that my recovery time is much longer than it used to be. I can't keep this up. So if there are any people more in her age range than I am, interested in meeting up with her for a drink let me know. Maybe you want to improve your Spanish, as she wants to improve her English. The Great Exhibition is an ideal location as it's close to her current home.
  12. Thanks for what ted?

  15. If he was having a good round maybe he would have completed it. I don't think he has got the hang of his new clubs yet and he did go through a bad patch last year with the old ones. Don't think we are in a position to decide he has suddenly become a spoilt brat though.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GUOGRN3dtk This is the Ryan Giggs goal which made me hope he would be the next George Best. I don't think he ever attained the brilliance of Best but he has and continues to be so very good.

  18. Well done Pinky82.

Well you wouldn't be able to unless you had. That's all I'm saying.

I keep forgetting it's understood we are talking about a man with a beard and pearly gates sort of thing.

So which bit do you disagree with?
  23. Does everyone know what a frog is? I guess mostly so. A Frenchman isn't it? No it isn't, but someone may have thought that's what I meant. To discuss God, unlike a frog, is very difficult as you may all be using a three lettered word to describe your concept of what that means and therefore talk at cross purposes. As for proving his existence? Well, chances are if he/she/it is there, it's not our brain which is going to recognise him/her/it. If there were one (a God), what would you ask him/her/it if you were granted an interview? First thing that pops in to my my mind is,who is going to win the Grand National? Lets face it. We don't deserve a God of any description......if there was one.
  24. Round 3 over and ????'s in the lead.
