  1. That's the school over in West Dulwich where it is nearly impossible for any East Dulwich child to get a place?
  2. Ian, You're good at identifying legislation. Is there anything that would require this thread to be deleted? John

  5. If you think Copleston Road is in Peckham it's an art installation.
  6. In The Peckham Society News Issue 148 Peter Frost reported that the balance in the East Dulwich Society dormant HSBC account was about ?1,900.
  7. The thread is here: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1787147,page=1 Street noise has the award is excess of ?20k. I don't think the North Cross Road community representatives have been named. I could be wrong.

But have you seen the "I Love West Dulwich" banners soon to be replicated (with different designs) in North Cross Road?
  10. Russell Lloyd, Dulwich Society Treasurer, probably needs a little time to work through the documents. If need be, the settled sum of money, can be included in the Dulwich Society eNewsletter, before the Dulwich Society accounts are published.
  11. > And of course they can't open it until it's repaired but ?17k is nothing. Several cycle hangars.
  12. Mr Barber plans to start regular patrols on his patch.

A better description would be dormant balance(s). The Dulwich Society should have been provided with copies of East Dulwich past accounts. These with details of income and expenditure for 2016/17 and 2017/18 should determine the amount of cash due to be handed over. A rough benchmark for money involved can be had from the financial returns (not accounts) submitted to the Charities Commission. For example, 2012 shows an income of ?1,334 and expenditure of ?46 that leaves a surplus of ?1,288 for 2012. I do not have a complete set of figures. Those I have show a cumulative surplus in excess of ?10,284. All should be clear when we see the relevant Dulwich Society accounts.
  14. Who is the Southwark Council employee who authorises payment of F.M.Conway invoices?
  15. The East Dulwich Society does not appear to be dissolved yet, but it should be soon. There seems to be two more returns to be made to the Charities Commission. The amount of money handed over will appear in the Dulwich Society accounts in due course.
  16. I've not seen a transcript of the speech. Mr Barber wrote: "I'd like to say a big thank you to Janet and Chris Coy and other East Dulwich Society committee members and general members for all the years of sterling service to our community. Thank you."
  17. A friend sent me this photo of the ceremony.
  18. Where are the documents on the Southwark Council web-site?
  19. > Council oversight of all building projects around the area have been complained about on this forum forever This is why the Southwark Council employees need to be identified.
  20. Can these people be named?
  21. Here's details of what The Great Exhibition is permitted to do: http://moderngov.southwark.gov.uk/mgAi.aspx?ID=25730
  22. > Adys Rd (yes I know it's stretching the ED definition but just up the road from the Tribeca development). Not really stretching as St John's is the East Dulwich parish church, and Adys Road is in East Dulwich Parish.
