  1. Goog God - somebody finally captured a likeness of Dulwichmum. Caught her good side as well.
  2. You may well now be portly and weather beaten for all we know DM - you havent turned up to a Forum do for ages. Have you got a large purple nose that you are unwilling to display in public?
  3. I dont think that you can dislocate politics and international sport. Politicians will clain that you can, when it suits them, but then will be the first to be seen waving the flag at a sports event when that suits them. Cynical bastards that they are. Hypocrisy as ever rules and Burma, Zim, Tibet and so on will suffer as long as they have nothing to "offer". This is the odious side of real-politik. Sadly I fear that after the Olympics the media will lose interest and Tibet will disappear off the radar scope for most people. I did feel sorry for Konnie Huk though - she did sort of get squashed in the scrum. How dare they do that to a Blue Peter presenter.
  4. 9th is good for me - would have some chums with me as well. The Herne would be good, not been there yet and it isnt too far away, although not on Lordship Lane - does people good to explore a little. Having said that, how big is it? The CPT started to feel a bit cramped as we had about 35 people in the back room. We need a bigger pub if numbers keep expanding. Summer drinks will be easier as we can expand into beer gardens. or The Mags - not been there for a while and it is the right size.
  5. I see that white sand from the Carib isles has been blown up to ED by the trade winds again... .. and this time its sticking!
  6. It was indeed Dulwichmum. She was on her daily Meths run down to Terry's DIY. Interestingly she got very confused when Sean's DIY changed to Terry's DIY, cycling straight past it and not realising her mistake until she reached Willesden. Luckily there is a B&Q in that area so she was able to access a bottle of "the blue" before wobbling back.
  7. Marvellous! Too late to get into the Castle - boo!
  8. Any idea when you will be back again?
  9. I shall wear dark glasses and hide behind the ladies B)
  10. So, why didnt we just go the Castle in the first pla ..... Oh yes, I remember now.
  11. I am up for a bit of Castle-ing too.
  12. In the office near Bond Street Tube. Next week, back to Tallinn.
  13. The National Trust do interesting week long breaks at a variety of their properties. You can get your hands dirty digging and wall laying and so on.
  14. You can register on the website to get half price food during the staff training days. Its a lottery, so there is no guarantee that you will get a place.
  15. I think Keef will be appearing in matching black skin-tight shorts, shirt, socks, trainers, sweat band, graphite bat and sunglasses.
  16. Mary - there is something about her...
  17. I have looms that need cleaning first.
  18. Argentina and Bosnia - havent we Brits dropped bombs on the citizens of both of those countries in living memory? Zimbabwe may soon be opening up to tourists - you could be the first. Kenya is also quite quiet Tourist-wise at the moment.
  19. I am feeding curry to Estonians tonight and they are reciprocating next Wednesday, so it will be a couple of weeks before I can pirouette around the court :(
  20. Damn near Forest Hill if you ask me.
  21. Wicked Auntie Anna - suits you madam.
  22. Prices may fall - but they will stabilise and ease back up - but not to a ridiculous extent. The idea that the market would always rise does seem to be an imposssible dream.
  23. Makes a grab for stab vest, kevlar helmet and dives under the table .... She could be said to be naive for wearing body armour in her own constituency, but she also accepted questionable money for her Deputy PM campaign. When does naive stop?
