  6. "Did you know that the average British woman will marry their 11th sexual partner? But does Mr Eleven always equal Mr Right? Michelle Ryan (Bionic Woman, EastEnders), Sean Maguire (Meet The Spartans, EastEnders) and Adam Garcia (Wicked, Coyote Ugly) form a love triangle driven by one woman?s obsession with numbers in Mr Eleven, a romantic comedy drama from Tiger Aspect." Apparently.
  7. Am glad to report that DHL collected my parcel and whisked it back to Amazon with no problems. Hurrah.
  8. It is unfortunate that because Ms Flanders is a woman, an attractive woman, a young(ish) attractive woman and a young (ish) attractive woman who can communicate complex issues in an understandable way to the majority - she is therefore not qualified to be economics editor. She is a fine young filly with a brain and the common touch. I like her and she does a good job.
  9. A Conspiracy of Violence - Susanna Gregory A bit of a whodunnt romp in restoration London
  10. *"Simply Gorgon" perhaps* "Can I have a stiff Gin and Dubonet? A bracer is required to cope with the current vista"
  11. "Victorian House of ill-repute?!" *Splendid idea - pass the morphia* *Twiddles large handle-bar moustache and gazes and Dulwichmum's ample draws*
  12. *Buys a Dictionary - hands Keef a hankie to staunch bleeding nose*
  13. Ref identification - we will be the big slightly drunken but friendly mob in the middle
  14. *Strides majestically into room, sees DM canoodling with Mr Keef* "Unhand that woman Sir! She may be a bit ragged around the edges, but she is MINE! Besides, you have one of your own." *Grabs DM around the waist and sweeps her off her feet* *Staggers towards door, nearly makes it, collapses in a heap* "Fetch me a surgical support, I have done myself a mischief* (Edited after purchase of Collins Gem Dictionary for Gentlefolk)

  19. Head for The Plough. Keef and Ive-met-Jimmy are hosting an open mic session and a number of Forumites will be lurking there.
  20. Um, well today I have been quite impressed with Amazon. I ordered an Expresso machine using the free delivery, which did take a few days longer, but I wasnt in a hurry. Tried it today - leaked everywhere. Their returns process is very simple, go on the website, click a few links, print out the return labels and then click through to the DHL site for a free collection. So, I am quite impressed.
  21. Keycamp do short time deals and quite cheap, they have a site close to Paris and so you could train it. or try ETAP hotels in France - they have double rooms that come in at less than ?30 a night B&B, I have stayed in the one that they have in Northern Paris - you could then get the Eurostar, cheap flight or even a coach to Paris.
  22. But I am liking "Rue Side" has a certain chic to it, not otherwise obvious when referring to the Peckham end of the Rye.
