I have eaten in the Mirash recently and had a good meal. It is also an easy stagger to the EDT. Perhaps Surma in January? So, EDT at 7ish and on to http://www.mirash.co.uk/ at 8pm.

Great evening courtesy of Dulwich Tandoori. Good food and ample drink made for an entertaining time for all 8 of us. The free chicken-tikka salad that we were given was excellent as was the port and the brandy. When do we do the next one? There was talk of trying to identify a date in December, difficult because of Christmas festivities. However, week commencing 10 December could work. Thursday 13 December? Does that work for people? All welcome.

Eight weeks to Christmas. If you bought one 200g can of John West salmon every week, thats well over one and a half kilos of salmon to serve. Mash up and press into a salmon shaped mould for extra authenticity. No cooking required, so extra time to spend with Mrs Buzzard before you send her back out on the chimney cleaning round.

OK, if there are no other takers, lets slip to late November and have this as the December meet up. Historically December itself is quite difficult because people's diaries become quite congested. So, lets try for 29 December at the Dulwich Tandoori.

I am postponing the meeting of Curry Club on 11 October. I suggest that we reconvene on 1 November.

8 of us met at the Brick Brewery for a few pints of Peckham Pale Very nice meal at Ganapati, not the standard curry house menu but delicious south Indian food. I am on holiday on the first Thursday of October, so am going to suggest 11 October. As for venue, I am going to suggest Dulwich Tandoori as we havent been there for a few months.
