  1. 8 of us met at the Brick Brewery for a few pints of Peckham Pale Very nice meal at Ganapati, not the standard curry house menu but delicious south Indian food. I am on holiday on the first Thursday of October, so am going to suggest 11 October. As for venue, I am going to suggest Dulwich Tandoori as we havent been there for a few months.
  2. We will raise a glass to your good health and speedy return to curry club Foxy. I have increased the booking to 9 people - Evea, Georgia, AmandaB, BNG, Lazero, Floating Onion, me + 2 others. Brick Brewery from 7, Ganapati at 8.30
  3. Table booked for 8.30pm (it was what was available), so extra time for drinkies.
  4. Looks like 5 of us so far: Evea, Georgia, AmandaB, BNG and me. Any other takers? Lets meet at the Brick Brewery at 7pm http://www.brickbrewery.co.uk/ On to Ganapati for 8pm
  5. Good enough for me! Ganapati it is. Lets meet at http://www.brickbrewery.co.uk/ at 7ish and then onto http://www.ganapatirestaurant.com/ at 8ish Who is in?
  6. OK. I will test out India Gate at some point. How about Ganapati? Its been quite a while since our last visit.
  7. OK, how big is it inside? I have never been in, could they handle a group of about 10?
  8. Numbers are dropping on Lordship Lane. Perhaps we need to look a little further afield?
  9. Given the Tandoori Nights situation - any preferences for an alternative?
  10. And the first post on this thread has been edited 125 times. A record? Also - Tandoori Nights - lets keep things as they are until we know when it is going to re-open. We can always do a last minute change of venue if need be.
  11. Good enough for me. Lets go with Thursday 6 September at Tandoori Nights. All welcome, please confirm on this thread. XX
  12. I suggest the first Thursday of September for the next meeting. Any suggestions as to where? We havent been to Tandoori Nights for ages. Any objections to either date of suggested venue?
  13. Great evening, seven people met for drinks and six went on for the meal, one dropping out for holiday prep purposes. A very nice meal was had with friendly and efficient service. After a number of changes of name and menu, Memsaab is a good quality restaurant with good food at competitive prices. Three of us had starters, all had main courses plus side dishes, rice and bread, plus beers and wine at 25GBP per head. A place to return to I think.
  14. Looking forward to Thursday. EDT from 7ish and then Memsaab from 8ish. XX
  15. Also, the 'Whats on in East Dulwich' has many clubs and social events through which you can meet people. ED is a very social area. Just find something that interests you and dive in.
