    I dont think we have mentioned that Katie 1997 attempted the NAGA CHILLI CHALLENGE. This being the eating of the naga chilli placed upon every portion of Jaflong's Naga Chicken. She passed the test with flying colours. Others have, but have done so with some fuss, sweating, frantic huffing puffing and over-dosing on endorphins. Katie didnt so much as flicker an eye-lid. An impressive performance.

    Came past it on the 176. Fire in a building behind a hair salon immediatly to the left of the Camberwell Sexual Health Clinic. We got through because it had only just broken out, one Police car on scene at that point, Fire Engines came belting down Denmark Hill as we drove on.

    Other interesting items to be found in the food shops in Peckham include Cows Foot, which is precisely that and Giant Snails, live. The latter is quite seasonal. Lets not forget Borough Market, a 12 minute train ride and a 5 minute walk away. Pricey, yes but a veritable festival for carnivores and veggies alike, Blessed are the Cheesemakers and indeed all makers of dairy products.
