  1. Yeah let?s get back to talking about pizza as this thread is going way off point...
  2. Why don?t you ask at the park office which is just down from there? I?m sure they would be best-placed to help even if it?s pointing you in the direction of someone else who may have what you need.
  3. Thanks so much for jumping in and clarifying, kindly send me the lottery numbers for this weekend too please.. I must remember not to be sarcastic at exaggerated statements going forward. 4. That?s probably more a minority than you think but thanks anyway for tarring us all with the same brush.... ;0) Abe_froeman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Might also be because so many dog > keepers round here don't train their animals are > quite happy to let them shit anywhere and > everywhere and attack anything going.
  5. Who was bear-baiting...? You were guilty of adding fire to the flame not only on that post but on a subsequent one.. if you were so keen to kill it you should just have stopped updating the planet on what you did to ?resolve? it. ella Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Admin deleted the thread at my request. 6. Fascinating reading, thanks for sharing.
  7. Absolute nonsense - one does not excuse the other at all and the blatant refusal at anything which resembles an apology is just childish and immature! I think you and Alice should skip back to Wonderland... :0)) NewWave Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > alice Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > And you spent time searching back through > posts. > > Pathetic. > > > Obviously a very bored person..... > > I agree with an earlier comment that this thread > serves no purpose any more. > Hopefully 'Saucy" will announce in the > 'buisiness'section when they are actually > reopening and then everyone can judge the place > for themselves and post accordingly under a new > heading. > This thread no longer serves its purpose and has > become a personal attack upon someone with a lot > of horrendous health problems who stated that he > had actually been in direct contact with the > owners. > it really is time to move on and look forward to > the restaurant's hopefully imminent opening.
  8. Sadly that won?t prevent the actual plants from being removed. Angelina Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You can drill through the bases and fix them to > the floor ow windowsills
  9. Thank goodness I?ve got two big dogs who always make a racket when anyone knocks on the door..
  10. I had Sky for years near Goose Green and rarely issues with broadband. After moving to SE21 last year we switched to Virgin and biggest mistake ever.. crap signal, box needs rebooting very regularly, low range - we needed a booster switch elsewhere in the house.. I could go on! Avoid if possible as there are better providers out there.
  11. I would definitely stick to an enclosed space until you are sure he will come back as the last thing you want is to be tearing across Peckham Rye after him! I?ve got an eight month Pointer and since getting her, my cardio has improved considerably!
  12. There are some adverts in Brockwell Fusion Gym for accredited swimming instructors - I may drag myself later today and if so, will post.
  13. Does anyone have recent experience using a reliable moving company - we are looking to move some furniture up to the Borders region(Scotttish side) to a house we bought recently. Any suggestions/ tips/ recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks
  14. Thumbs up for The Neighbourhood Vet on LL - never had any issues with them and have been using them since they started in Peckham Rye. They did a great job on one of my dogs who was viciously attacked towards the end of last year - I found them to be professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
  15. Sir, you need to buy a dog! cleglen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'd gladly swap ALL the cats crap in my front and > back garden for the stuff on the pavement- at > least the stuff on the pavement is easy to get rid > of and is not killing the plants
  16. Ffs, get a life and move on - you made your point countless times and now it just sounds limp..! bboy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Edag might have been trying, used in the "loosest" > terms for the community, can I suggest you look > back to last year and how they he/treated people > who dared comment on their inability to meet their > own deadlines. 17. Have you observed the lack of street bins in SE21/22? They are almost as rare as flying pigs these days. As the owner of two large dogs who both deliver football-sized presents on a regular basis, it?s quite a challenge to get rid of when walking the streets to the parks so, whilst not always ideal, sometimes there are limited/ zero alternatives... I have been ?guilty? of putting tied bags in bins which are out in the street. 18. Neighbourhood Vet - great team, very helpful and efficient. I have used them for a number of years for both dogs and wouldn?t go elsewhere! My seven month old puppy isn?t quite as enthused with them since they took her temperature..!
  19. Definitely Lisa at Bow Wow, she lives in East Dulwich and apart from being a lovely individual, she is also great with animals. She used to look after my dog too and if the dog could write she would also add a glowing reference!
  20. Thanks all - no further action required as owner has been tracked down via FB.
  21. I have just spoken to the local dog warden, Mark Newell, and he is happy to be contacted independently on this issue on the following email: [email protected]
  22. My Weimaraner female sustained severe injuries in Belair Park yesterday afternoon around lunchtime following an altercation with a dark grey male staffie/ pitbull type dog. An older lady in a dark hooded jacket was walking him and she said it was her daughter?s dog. Initially she claimed he was a good boy and never fought however a few minutes later she confessed that she had her hand bitten the previous week as he had been fighting with a husky. She was accompanied by another older lady who was walking what looked like a fairly young Rhodesian Ridgeback. Initially the Ridgeback chased my other dog, a six month old pup over to the trees and I was just returning from rescuing her when it kicked off. Her dog sustained zero injuries and at the time I didn?t realise the extent of my dog?s harm. I saw her bleeding and I just wanted to get out of there and to the vet. As I was crossing into the other side of Belair I came across two women who each had dogs and told them to put their dogs on the lead. As I did this it started to become apparent the extent of my dog?s injuries and so I asked one of the ladies to hold my dogs as I wanted to go back to let her know that it was serious.. Shockingly enough the dog was off the lead and running around. My anger got the better of me and I told her to lead the dog whilst making her aware of the injuries sustained by my dog. Clearly this woman is not fit to deal with such a temperamental and aggressive dog and as it wasn?t the first time it had been involved in an altercation I feel it is my duty to make everyone else aware of the situation and hopefully to ensure that this dog is at very least muzzled/ lead-walked going forward. My dog has just come out of surgery and has a 30cm stitches wound going from the top of her back to her tummy. She is in a great deal of pain and discomfort and whilst getting the best of care and round the clock attention, it?s so traumatising to have to watch her suffer in this way. She is almost nine years old and has never been in a fight in her life. Whilst not trying to start a witch hunt, we would be very much obliged if anyone who may know of this lady and her dog to contact me via private message in order to begin official proceedings to ensure the same thing doesn?t happen to anyone else! Sadly I don?t have any pictures of her as I was too shocked at the time. Thanks
  23. Be careful with architects... I used one a few years ago and agreed a set price withhim. After he fins he'd and I got quotes he then demanded much more money based on these inflated quotes even though we agreed the set price at the outset. Beware...!
