But over a season > it would be a miracle if he beat the odds. He was > going to do this as an experiment he said. My 'experiment' lasted a whole 2 weeks :) Week 5 (11 points scored)... I predicted two correct scores @ 17/2. If I had placed ?1 on each of the 9 games I would've made a ?10 profit in total. I predicted 7 correct results. If I had placed ?1 on each of the 9 games I would've made ?11.50 profit in total. Total profit ?21.50. Week 6 (6 points scored)... 1 correct score @ 14/1 = ?4 profit, and 4 correct results returned a loss of ?3.60, so overall a profit of 40p. Total profit after 2 weeks = ?21.90. My average score for these two weeks was 8.5pts. My average score for the whole 21 weeks is just under 7.5pts. So I performed above average for those two weeks. I haven't worked out how many correct scores I have predicted, but I reckon they are the key to whether you would make a profit or not. I think you would need to average at least 1 a week, perhaps 3 over 2 weeks, in order to make a profit...
Ladies in jimjams can be a good look, a much needed antidote to the Urban Woodsman, I think more should follow LadyD's and gg's lead... *rubs hands along thighs...*
Definitely lots of inverse snobbery going on in this thread. Whether you like them or not, McD's successfully serves a need, basic economic supply and demand, otherwise they wouldn't be in business...

LG, by the law of averages, one day your predictions for a Utd defeat will come about...;-)
Week 22 fixtures. This week's Coupon Buster is Wigan to win at Chelsea... Saturday 9th February 2013 Tottenham V Newcastle Chelsea V Wigan Norwich V Fulham Stoke V Reading Sunderland V Arsenal Swansea V QPR Southampton V Man City Sunday 10th February 2013 Aston Villa V West Ham Man Utd V Everton Monday 11th February 2013 Liverpool V West Brom
England team....Hart, Johnson, Cole, Cahill, Smalling, Gerrard, Walcott, Wilshere, Cleverley, Rooney, Welbeck. Looks promising for a very open friendly, is Roy's new mantra 'We'll score more goals than you'?..
QPR 2 Norwich 1 Arsenal 3 Stoke 0 Everton 2 Aston Villa 1 Newcastle 2 Chelsea 2 Reading 2 Sunderland 1 West Ham 2 Swansea 2 Wigan 1 Southampton 2 Fulham 1 Man Utd 2 West Brom 1 Tottenham 1 Man City 3 Liverpool 2 Stop Press I forgot to add the Coupon Buster for the mid-week games, so to make up there will be two this week. Handy, as there are two teams with the same outside odds...the Villa to win at Everton and Stoke to win at Arsenal.
Dodgy Alps inspired chocolate ingots aside, the Swiss do have some uber cool buildings... http://remodelista.com/img/sub/uimg//06-2012/700_zumthor-vals-09-jpeg Vals Thermal Spa
Is there a collective Swiss identity? I would've thought that with the various Cantons and spoken languages, each has it's own particular identity and customs...bit like the English and Scots, only nicer chocolate...
What ???? said, none of the this one-upmanship maple cured nonsense. And if your fingers don't leave an indelible imprint in the soft doughy white bread, then it ain't a bacon sarnie butty...also needs to be bought from an establishment that wouldn't pass a hygiene test.
