  1. guardian software, might have known ;-)
  2. The jury's out on that one...
  3. You have to admit Jah, the current location of the entrance and especially the main bar isn't ideal. I can understand why they've done it originally with the split bar concept, but people waiting to be served at the main bar get in the way of people coming in. Thinking aloud...with it being a corner site, the logical place to put the entrance would be on the corner. If that's not possible then the Crystal Palace Road elevation would make sense, just take out one of the large window panels. The snug bar would probably go and the main bar get pushed back towards it, with back of house/ancillary behind, maybe some new toilets. The existing entrance could then become a sole staff/goods entrance, creating clearly defined public drinking and staff serving areas either side of the new main bar...time will tell :)-D
  4. I admire your fighting spirit maxxi, many have tried, but alas many have failed too...think Mockney 'Charlton Athletic' Piers, he too thought it would be one season on the Nunhead and Sydenham Southern Forum, but sadly he's now trawling the depths of the West Dulwich Forum...another relegation for him and total obscurity on the Herne Hill Forum beckons
  5. that means you now have to quit the EDF maxxi, it's in the rules...
  6. Take it anyway you want BR :)
  7. Unlucky Palace, losing on pens is never nice. In a bit of a dilemma about tonight's other semi-final...not a question of who I want to win, more like who do I want to lose more...as Citeh are more of a threat in the League I'll plump for them as the team I'd like to see lose, hopefully another tiring 90mins, extra time + pens...don't worry Liverpool fans, normal service will be resumed on Saturday ;-)
  8. Stamp it out...
  9. Brilliant, can't wait to get my replica kit on and slip into a comfy sofa...

  11. Let it go ratty :)

Let's hope for England's sake his progress doesn't go backward like Walcott's has done. > 3. Have gooners decided on a moniker yet? (Oxy? > Ox-Lad? Oxer? Ox? O.C?) I reckon Ox, only one syllable ;-)
  13. Well said LG, nice to know there are Gooners who know what support actually means...you should post on here more often :) Fergie once got the bird from Utd fans after his first 3 seasons when we seemed to be going backwards not forwards. But after what he has since achieved I too would be disgusted if that happened now. Wenger deserves far more respect than he got yesterday.

I seem to remember under one of your many previous reincarnations you couldn't afford to watch football...I'm glad to see someone is financially better off in the recession :) As for looking to see, see previous post...
  15. Atila said... What's strange is that you guage someone's loyalty on whether they comment on the EDF after a match or not. If you look at my posting history you will see that I didn't post after we beat Citeh in the cup, yet I did when we lost in the league. It just depends whether I have the time to do so or not. Some if us have a life outside of the EDF, I suggest you get one too :)
  16. Stop ranting and take your medication Atila. Manchester 2 London 0...welcome to the future :)
  17. Lee Dixon quite rightly had the proverbial taken out of him on MOTD last night for his Balotelli 'lost his balance' appraisee. IMO it was a deliberate back heel, and I trust Howard Webb, when he reveiws the video, will confirm that he would've red carded him had he seen it. I like Mario, I think the game needs character's like him, but he can't get away with thuggery like that. Not sure what the situation with Lescott is, did Webb see the elbow and let it go, or will that be reviewed too? On a happier note, loved the sight of those ever so loyal Gooners baying at Wenger and booing Arshavin...priceless :)
  18. I don't think maths is Rooney's strongest point :)
