  1. *Seabag, Ferrero Rocher'd out in the Obs room, spies his chance to perform his newly acquired 'Masonic handshake'...*
  2. As usual you've hit the nail on the head *Bob*, string is very important in building an extension, watch this guy go... *Rubs thighs...*
  3. I agree it's not an exact science due to economies of scale etc. Just spoken to a builder who does a lot of extensions in the area (good quality finish) and he said around ?30k but could be a bit less or more depending on ground conditions, drainage, access, brickwork or render finish, number of roof lights etc...
  4. The OP was looking for a 6m long extension, and people have said around ?50k for the basic shell, but P.O.U.S was quoted for only 3m, so ?25k sounds about right...
  5. In the context of the thread it can only be Ferrero Rocher, time for one of these...
  6. The big kick-off is at 8 tonight, can't wait, going for a win for Candice...
  7. Better still, go down to City Hall and dazzle them with your silvery tie...
  8. I think Seabag should try and incorporate all the suggestions, thus creating the EDF Look, a post-Hipster-irony ensemble that would instantly draw the attention of any attendees of the Masonic persuasion. Remember, in business it's not what you know, but who you know. And if you experience a funny handshake Seabag, that's them telling you that you're in...although do check that you've got your flies done up, just in case...
  9. I'm not a big fan of Mourinho, but he's a long way off from being labelled a specialist in failure...

Since when was saying 'Vote Corbyn' promoting race hate?...
  11. Oh for goodness sake Seabag, just wear what all the other waiters will be wearing!...
  12. The gap was a lot bigger a few weeks ago, softly softly, catchy Cowboy...
  13. Don't tell me, they clock in every morning at 6.57...
  14. You strike me as the quirky, idiosyncratic type Seabag, keep your tie on if no one else is wearing one, and take along some Ferrero Rocher, the Ambassador will love you for that...
  15. Business still means a suit and tie, doesn't have to be stuffy though, try a knitted tie, the Scandis will love that...
  16. Week 9 points... Week 9 table...
  17. Duvaller Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > 3. With Plough Homecraft, their hardware display takes up less space than Dulwich DIY ?Fact. > 4. Sean's hardware also has a modest pavement usage on the pavement. ?Fact As long as Dulwich DIY are displaying their wares within their shop frantage zone, then it's totally irrelevant whether they have more wares on display than other DIY shops such as the Plough and Sean's. If these shops choose not to maximaise the use of their frontage zone, so be it, it doesn't mean Dulwich DIY have to follow suit. You've also not considered the size of each shop's frontage zone, they're unlikely to be the same...

But malumbu brought up Liddle (sic) and then immediately followed that with his 'patronising stereotyping' comment, so I can see why Loz responded. Despite railing against 'patronising stereotyping', malumbu often comes across that way himself...
  19. After jinxing the Liverpool/United game by saying neither side could keep a clean sheet, I'm on a roll. Tomorrow it's a win double for City and Chelsea...
  20. Grok, next time you accuse someone of bullying on the forum, I'll remind you of your uncalled for recent posts to Jeremy...
  21. Which bookmaker did you place the bets with? Perhaps they had/have a special offer on. Spurs very good value at 'Evens' to win at Bournemouth...

The EDF has the same rule but it's specific to businesses with a trading address in the SE22 postcode, will you be just as specific? ''Surrounding area'' sounds a bit vague and open to interpretation. One loophole I've noticed on the EDF recently is that if a business uses it's business name as it's forum's user name, it doesn't get banned, thus every time it posts on any thread it's getting another advert for it's business...stealth advertising if you like. I know I'd personally stop this from happening if I ran a forum as it gives an unfair advantage to that business...

  24. Foxy, most of those conflicts you listed are in the Middle East and Africa, countries in those regions have been at each other's throats for centuries. Syria, because of America's and Russia's involvement, has potential to escalate, but we're a long way off anything that could remotely be described as WW3, more like cock swinging in the changing rooms...
