  1. Try the market at peckham rye, it will be much cheaper or there are companies you can send the phone to for repair. If you mean who pays between you and your daughter maybe go halves?
  2. This >:D< is giving the finger!! NOT thumbs up!
  3. Annoying the 63 only goes to the Forest Hill Tavern. You could cycle from Brockley or Honor Oak to Barry Road.
  4. The Fellow in Kings Cross is nice depending on your taste. Food downstairs and they have a cocktail bar you can hire upstairs. Don't know about their real ale selection. http://www.thefellow.co.uk/

  6. I think that if you handed the card in to HSBC they'd be able to call up the persons details and call them. I may be wrong.
  7. We called ours a wedding celebration. We did similar but had the party the same night. You are invited to celebrate the wedding of........ The location should make it clear it's not the actual ceremony. We used Tart Bar in Farringdon. Hired whole place (not very big). No hire fee but minimum bar. Probably not to everyones taste due to the art work/decor. The staff were brilliant and we had an amazing time.

Sorry if I sound rude but if the Flu had started to pass and your temperature had reduced what did you expect him to do? Flu is a virus so no antibiotics are required and are not at all beneficial. Doctors often see 40+ patients a day, for 10 minute appointments. Many people who really really need a doctor often have to wait days for an appointment, there are also patients with major problems which can't be dealt with easily in 10 minutes. If I was him and it was obvious that I could be of no help and I knew that I had another 30 patients to get through then I would have said the same, paracetomol (if still fever/aches), fluids, rest. He's there to do a job, although I do feel he should be courteous. If you were getting worse then it'd be a different story. Sorry if that sounds insensitive. I really hope you feel better soon.

  11. I think they are all recent Ad's for bikes from ebay, gumtree etc. So it's a easy way to keep a look out for your own bike if it's been stolen. @ Steveo - If you can prove it's yours call the police when you next see the little b. I'm going to get an electronic data-tag for my bike which can't be removed and I already have it registered on immobilse.
  12. Bugger, bollocks, parahippocampal gyrus (technically not one word) and juxtaposition!

  15. From BBC - A2216 Lordship Lane East Dulwich, southbound at Townley Road A2216 London - A2216 Lordship Lane in East Dulwich blocked southbound at the Townley Road junction, because of an accident. Updated 12 minutes ago
  16. The problem is some people do take the p*ss. My husband managed to get to barking today on public transport. Just had to wait 15mins for a train to LB. It costs the economy a lot of money when it snows. I am self-employed so only ever get paid if I work.... Unsurprisingly I can nearly always manage to get there. There have been times when I have made the effort and if I would have been paid anyway I wouldn't have bothered. It's a very tricky situation. I think 1-2 day limit is fair.
  17. Trains running with delays. National Rail website is staying up to date. DOn't know about buses.
  18. Nationsl Rail website is useful. http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/en/s/ldbboard/dep/EDW/LBG/To

  20. OMG! I always thought it was thumbs up too! On zoom it's definitely the finger!
